Background: Russian Nobility by Blood and Grand Duchess and Empress of Imperial Russia by Marriage, she had reigned over Russia with her Husband from 1909 until late 1916 when her family abdicated and fled to Europe. She would be arrested a few months later in early 1917 and brought to England. She would remain a prisoner in Edinburgh Castle, England until mid 1919 where she would be found guilty of 'mass genocide' of her people and would be sentenced to death by firing squad along with her friend, Former Queen Elizabeth and some members of the Russian Royal Family
