Late Nights with You: Fafnir x Takiya Fluff

It's been a long day. Takiya had a lot of work and was ready to just go home and breathe.

After walking home, he was happy to see Fafnir sitting in his usual spot with his headphones on. Fafnir pulled his headphones down to his neck to let them rest on his shoulders. "What took you so long?"

"Sorry, I had tons of work to do. I'm so glad it's the weekend!"

"You should take a break."

"Aw, Fafnir, are you worried for me?" Takiya blushed lightly and grinned. "No, I just know that your mere human body might get too stressed and then I won't have anybody to play games with." Fafnir looked away to hide his red face.

"Ha, what a tsundere." Takiya knew that Fafnir didn't really mean this. He truly was worried for him.

"I think I'm gonna go lay down, are you going to sleep?" He asked this knowing that Fafnir almost never sleeps. "Mm, we'll see." Fafnir pushed a piece of his silky black hair out of his face.

Takiya smiled, walked back to the bedroom, and put his stuff down. He shrugged off his jacket and took off his shirt. Then after slipping into his pajama pants, he laid down. He closed his eyes as he listened to the quiet tapping on Fafnir's keyboard. But just as he was about to fall asleep to the comforting noise, the tapping stopped. He was slightly confused but then he then heard a few more sounds. He realized that Fafnir had stopped playing and was walking towards the bedroom. But why? Did he need something? Takiya had no idea but when Fafnir quietly entered the room, he decided to pretend to be asleep.

Suddenly, Takiya could feel Fafnir's breath on his face. He would've jumped back if he wasn't supposed to be "asleep" because of the closeness of his face. After what felt like forever, he noticed a gentle hand lightly stroking his head. Fafnir was softly running his fingers through his hair while staring him down. Takiya thought this was adorable and moved slightly. Fafnir lifted his hand away at the unexpected movement. He was worried that he had woken him up.

The shorter haired male sleepily opened his eyes. "Faf-kun? What are you doing?"

His dragon companion just stared at him, not knowing what to say. So he just blurted out, "I was worried about you."

The long-haired man still had a straight face but on the inside he was super embarrassed. The brown-haired man just laughed at him and picked up the blanket as an invitation. Fafnir considered for a second but then joined him. He wrapped his long arms around his waist and stuck his nose in his hair. The dragon was glad that it was dark so his partner couldn't see how red and heated his face was. Being able to feel his housemate's warmth against him was so comforting but he didn't know why. All he knew was that he loved the feeling.

They eventually both fell asleep in each other's arms. Just being together made them happier than ever.
