Fragments of the Past - Wintry Wings

The lancer looked at us with a serious look, but his hostility towards me was greater.

Caster slowly floats back, positioning himself on my right hand.

Caster:"What are you talking about, Lancer? Have you forgotten the rules of war?"

Lancer: "I ask the same of you, sorceress. Why are you amazed at my presence? Have you forgotten that we are to fight with each other?"

Lancer walks around Lisa's body, and swings his spear in her hand, thus entering her battle pose.

Lancer: "As you took this young woman's life, I will take yours and your Master, Caster."

Master?  What's happening?  Could it be... is it the so-called war that Shirou and Rin participated in?  But they destroyed the Grail, it shouldn't be possible.

The sorceress places her left hand on my right shoulder and gives me a mental order.

Caster:"go."

My body fills with inexplicable strength, and then I lunge at Lancer, not even having time to think.

Unconsciously, he creates two wooden swords, and automatically reinforces them.

Seeing my hostile action, Lancer also steps forward, with a thrust forward.

The mysterious man, performs a lunge, aiming at my forehead, and with extremely sharp reflexes, I rebound his blade, with the sword in my right hand, swinging it horizontally.

After the clash of our weapons, I take a brief lunge as I swing my left sword horizontally, intending to cut off Lancer's head.

Lancer ducks, dodging my attack.  With my guard open, and with my back to the enemy, the spearman again tries to stab me, this time aiming the spear blade at my heart.

By turning my body 180°, and moving my right arm, violently, to the right, I manage to counteract the attack, and prevent my death.

Interestingly, I can match his speed, and predict his next move.  If I can improve on this, I bet I can beat him.

Lancer approaches, thrusting his spear against me as he turns it clockwise.

Quickly, I place my swords in front of my face, forming an X, and preventing my face from being ripped in half.

With my right foot, I support my body, and I continually push it forward.

The warrior accelerates the speed of rotation, and seeing that my weapons would break, I open my arms tightly, trying to push the spear away.

Kageru: "Haaaah!"

The swords are broken, leaving only a part of the "blade" above the hilt, and the spear continues to rotate.

Lancer suddenly stops his attack, positioning his spear with the tip of the blade facing my head.  With the speed of a shot from a fire gun, a new lunge is performed.

Tilting my body, and my head to the right, the tip of the spear makes a horizontal cut a few inches below my left eye.

Without thinking twice, with the reinforced pieces of the swords, I attack, with a diagonal movement, from right to left, and from top to bottom, using my right arm.  Then, with a horizontal blow, from left to right, and also from top to bottom, like this, making an X cut in the spearman's chest.

Having attacked him, I leap forward, and turn around, facing him with a smile, and with the two pieces of wooden swords in my hands.

My smile is replaced by a confused look as I realize what's going on.
