Some weeks after meeting Tony Stark
Lyla was really sick, she knew that she only had some days left. She got admitted to the hospital. The doctors already knew that Lyla could not be saved. Everything was very confusing for the little Rose, Lyla told her that she was not seriously sick, but she knew that she had to tell the truth about her health and the truth about Rose's father. But she was not ready, she was afraid that Rose might make a bad picture about Tony, she didn't want that. The doctors told Lyla that she can die any minute. So she decided to tell Rose, she called her in her room.
"Mommy! How are you today? You don't look so well "Rose said and hugged her mother
"I'm fine, baby" Lyla coughed and gave a small smile
"Rose, I need to tell you something," Lyla said and took Rose's small hands in her big ones
"Remember the day mommy came late and was very sad " She started explaining
"Mhmm" Rose nodded
"That day I went to meet your father, Your father is Tony Stark. I wanted to tell him that I am dying, he could take care of you after my death but he was scared and didn't want you. He is just scared Rose after some time he will understand that you are his daughter and he will love you. I don't want you to make a bad picture of him " Lyla explained everything
Rose was in a deep shock. Her mother was dying, her father didn't want her and she didn't know all of this.
"Remember that I love you more than anything in this whole world," Lyla said and kissed Rose's forehead
"I love you too mommy," Rose said in a cracking voice and some tears fell from her green hazel eyes
"Never stop fighting," Lyla said and suddenly she started coughing hysterically. The doctors came running, the nurse took Rose out of the room. Rose sat on the chairs near the room. All of this was very confusing for the 5-year-old little girl. After half an hour a doctor came outside the room and went to Rose and asked
"Are you Rose Evans ?" he asked
"Yes," Rose said
"I am very sorry dear, but your mother is dead. She is in a better place ." The doctor said and sat beside Rose. Rose started crying wildly and the doctor rubbed her back.
Rose got up and started walking toward her house when she took an alley for a shortcut. Then suddenly a man drugged her with a tranquilizer and Rose entered the darkness.
