020 ; Nezuko

Nezuko starts to run towards you both but a puddle appears in front of her foot "Nezuko!" you both yell in worry, yours in more of a hushed tone. The demon jumps out and lunges at Nezuko, to which she just effortlessly flips over it's head, landing in a superhero-like crouch and runs over to all of you.

3RD POV

Tanjiro gasps slightly and Kazumi looks at Nezuko in slight awe 'Wow.... impressive skills' your mouth forms a small 'o' shape as your eyes linger on Nezuko's figure. Tanjiro's eyes shake slightly 'Urokodaki-san did tell me.. that Nezuko is a demon now.' he thinks and clutches his haori. 'And that she's not necessarily so weak that I have to protect her' Tanjiro looks down slightly 'Is it ok to let her handle this?' Tanjiro gazes over to where you, Kazumi and the woman are. 'And I have Y/N by my side, I shouldn't underestimate her either, I can smell how strong she is even if she hasn't showed it to her full extent'.

Tanjiro gives you all a determined look as he places his foot forwards, preparing for an emerging demon, but instead the same murky puddle forms underneath his feet and he quickly jumps away. You furrow your eyebrows and get in a stance, ready to protect Tanjiro and Nezuko.

A puddle forms itself beside Nezuko and a demon leaps out, aiming for Nezuko who swiftly moves backwards. "Nezuko!' Tanjiro yells as the demon growls at you all, the puddle from earlier advances towards Tanjiro's feet.

He takes a step back in uncertainty before furrowing his eyebrows and looks up to you both "Nezuko, Y/N! I'm going underground" you widen your eyes slightly "Huh? That's not safe!" You slightly yell at him. He shakes his head. "Protect Kazumi and the woman!" He yells and you grunt slightly, knowing just how stubborn he is.

Tanjiro smiles at Nezuko "You can do that, right" you also softly smile at Nezuko, she widens her eyes slightly before nodding in determination.

The puddle makes gurgling noises as Tanjiro looks down at it, he steps forward and lets the thick substance cover his feet. "Be safe, okay? Tanjiro" you mutter to him as a blush coats his cheeks 'she's worrying about me! How cu- wait.. what am I thinking!?' Tanjiro shakes his head and gives you a nod of determination "Don't worry about me!" he yells before fully sinking into the ground. You shake your head slightly "That wasn't my question you mutter and sigh.

Kazumi looks at the puddle near his foot in uncertainty, his mouth slightly agape as he looks at you worriedly. Nezuko growls at the demon as it lunges at her, her dodging and sending in a few kicks.

You watch for a little, wanting to see Nezuko's fighting techniques but quickly snapping out of it when you see the demon aiming for the distracted Nezuko's forehead.

You look at it in annoyance and lunge forward, cutting off the demon's arms as it makes some groans of pain. "Gah! Get out of my way human, I'll just have to devour you!" the demon yells and lunges at you.

With a blank look on your face you rise your sword above your head "Water Breathing, First Form : Water Surface Slash" you mutter as you bring your sword down on the demon's head, a small trail of water following close behind.

The demon's eyes widen in surprise as it's head falls to the ground 'Dammit, Dammit! This mere human defeated me!? This is really my end! Damn humans!' the demon thinks in utter annoyance, gritting it's teeth as the last of it's head disappears into nothingness.

You turn to Nezuko who holds the same blank look you do, "Are you alright, Nezuko?" you ask and the cute demon 'Hmm's and hugs you, leaving you slightly shocked before hugging back slightly.
