Prologue

Summary:
Mitsuki and Inko had decided to establish their lives together as the two start their own family.

Third person's p.o.v

"HISASHI!!" Inko's voice of clear panic and the mild scent of distress filled up the space of the Bakugou household alerting everyone else inside. Mitsuki was the first to hear and arrive at the living area where her friend resides and the sight of her friend's state had triggered a memory of Masaru when his water broke. In between the beta's thighs leaked water as she rested her whole weight near the wall for support. "M-my water broke!" That was all it took for the feisty blonde to shout at the top of her lungs to call the ambulance. At that moment, The freckled alpha appeared down the stairs, sprinting three steps at a time to assist his mate.

Not too long before the ambulance arrived in front of the gate, alerting the revolted neighbors the Bakugous' have. Hisashi paid no mind to neither the neighbors nor their friends as he carried his pregnant wife into the back of the vehicle. On the way to the hospital, Hisashi tried his best to comfort his wife as she weep from the pain, half-aware that one of the medical workers are informing him that he'll be muzzled once inside the birthing chamber to ensure the safety of both the staff and himself. They arrived in exactly 15 minutes stat, there was a lot of waiting around while at the hospital. They had made it early, so Inko was left with nothing but to wait and ride out the contractions as well as take the medicine she would need for the birth. She was prepped verbally and reassured at every turn. Hisashi was slapped with scent blockers when his scent thickened with his concern and almost set Inko off. Then there was almost nothing.

Their friends finally arrived as Masaru carried their two-month-old son. Inko's heart raced as she focused on breathing. Their pup was coming. All the waiting was almost done. She could barely believe it was finally happening. From the look in Hisashi's eyes, he couldn't believe it either.

When the command was given, the couple were escorted inside the birthing center and Hisashi willingly put on his muzzle. It wasn't as gruesome as Inko had been expecting. Hisashi's eyes watched everything that they could as he took Inko's hand. Even without saying it, Inko knew her mate was supporting her. Their eyes met, and Inko grinned before saying, "If I tell you I hate you during this, it's not true."

"Go ahead and hate me all you want during this, darling," Hisashi assured her. "You're stuck with me in this lifeline, I ain't going anywhere."

That was good enough for Inko.

The birth was easier than Inko had expected but rough in a way that she hadn't. Hisashi had snarled throughout half of the birth when Inko had screamed. He kept his mind enough to keep both of his hands wrapped around Inko's one hand, though. He never raised a finger against any of the nurses. But the scent of blood, the stressed out, in pain Beta, and the mild scent in the air were enough to make Hisashi all but feral. His snarling only stressed Inko out more, but as long as Hisashi didn't let go of her, she will be fine.

She almost didn't hear the first sound of her pup's cries over Hisashi's obnoxious snarling, but Hisashi did. He had shut his mouth immediately, stunned. Inko, covered in sweat and panting, stared between her legs as her pup was finally out in the world, Soiled with her blood and mucous. He screamed with his first breath. Hisashi's grip on Inko's hand went slack with shock. His expression wasn't one that Inko would forget anytime soon.

The blur of activity ended sometime later. Inko didn't remember much about it. She felt her manacles released and she felt Hisashi's lips pressing to her sweat-soaked hair. She passed out at some point, she thought, because she was awoken by the nurses returning and calling her name.
