Sunlight shone through the stained glass of the church as both Sarv and Ruv were tidying up the place after they had just held Mass. While they were cleaning up, Ruv let out a  sigh as he had noticed a small crack in the ceiling that had started to grow, Sarv turning her attention towards him upon hearing his sigh and asking "what's the matter Ruv?". She then noticed he was looking at something, turning her attention to what he had been looking at before noticing the crack as well "oh, don't worry about that. I'll handle it so that you don't have to get up there" she offered cheerfully, hoping to help take his attention away from it. Ever since their battle with BF the church had been a lot more susceptible to damage due to Sarv using up most of her energy and powers trying to beat the kid, she'd still been recovering but wasn't completely recovered from the incident. "No no, I can do it. You don't need to be using your powers right now" Ruv responded as he was thinking on how he'd fix the crack, most of his solutions being unreasonable or dangerous "hmm, could hang upside down from the roof and use that window to fix it up?" Upon hearing his idea Sarv was quick to shut it down  "No no, it's okay I can do it! I'll just go find a ladder from the storage. We don't need you hurting yourself over something this small!" She told him, trying to wave the situation off in hopes that he'll just agree to it. "Hmm...that probably would've been a better idea, but okay. If you do need my help though, just let me know because you don't need to get hurt either" "alrighty! Will do Ruv!" Sarv happily agreed, just glad that she was able to prevent a possible incident from happening. Even though their promise did technically make both of them immortal, both were still susceptible to getting hurt but just couldn't die from their wounds  as their bodies had fast healing properties. Even though she knew this,  she still hated it to see him get hurt since they could still feel pain and Knowing Ruv, he'd probably hurt himself and play it off like it never happened. She didn't like how He rarely ever showed his pain or emotions to her, but she respected his decisions and wasn't going to bother him about it if he didn't want to tell her, deciding to let him do it at his own pace. Sarv then let out a small sigh as she watched Ruv gather up a stack of chairs before heading off to put them away in storage, bringing an hand up and resting her chin in her palm as she watched him leave "i hope he's alright" she quietly spoke, wondering what was goin on in his head.

The sound of leaves crunching could be heard with each step Ruv took as he made his way towards a small storage shed that was sitting outside behind the church. Setting the stack of chairs down, he went over to the door and opened it before taking the stack inside and setting it neatly in its assigned spot. He didn't understand why they put the chairs there since he felt there was a lot of free space inside of the church that they could've used, but he didn't mind having to move things back and forth from the church so he never questioned Sarv about it. Once done with that, Ruv grabbed the ladder that Sarv would need to fix the ceiling before leaving the shed,  closing the door behind him as he left and heading back to the church. As he was making his way back to the front of the church, Ruv heard a rustling sound coming from some bushes  nearby, setting the ladder down as he decided to check it out and make sure it wasn't any intruders. Upon reaching the spot, he noticed some weird bubbling black substance that was on the ground, kneeling down to get a better look at it since he'd never seen anything like it before. He watched for a moment as the liquid continued to bubble, grabbing some on his finger as he tried to figure out what was causing it to bubble but it had stopped once making contact with his finger. "hmm, this stuff is weird" Ruv quietly spoke to himself before wiping his finger off  on some nearby plants, doing a quick double check of the area before going back to what he was doing.

Once back inside, Ruv carried the ladder to the spot where the ceiling had cracked, but as he looked up he noticed that it had already been taken care of. Ruv let out a small sigh as he turned to look at sarvente who was nearby, using a duster to clean off some things and pretending to be occupied. "Sarvente, did you already fix the ceiling? Because the crack from earlier is gone" he asked, watching as she turned to respond "oh, that. Yeah I already got it fixed up, sorry about that Ruv. I found a ladder in one of the rooms and used that to patch it up real quick so that you wouldn't have to worry" she explained with a smile. Sarv got a bit nervous as Ruv had set the ladder down and approached her, putting both of his hands on her shoulders as he spoke "Sarvente, I know you're lying. I'm not mad or anything,  just Please, Please stop using you're powers for a moment and let yourself recover. Can you promise me that, That from now on until you're all better you won't use them?" Sarvente let out a sigh as she nodded, lifting up her hand as she told him "okay, i pinkie promise that I won't use them unless absolutely necessary. But how did you know I used them in the first place?" She asked while watching as Ruv made their little promise before explaining "we only have one ladder" and pointing to the ladder behind him. "Aww, what? How was I suppose to know that was the only one we have" she said with a small pout "also maybe that's not the only one, maybe I secretly got another ladder to use" "if you did then I would know. Now, I'm going to go put it back, do you need anything else from the shed?" "Nope! we're good, Thank you though" Ruv nodded before going back to the ladder, grabbing it and taking it back out once more.

As Ruv walked back outside and towards the shed once more, he noticed that there were more splotches of black goo scattered around the area. The sight of it made him suspicious, something was going on that he didn't know about and it most likely wasn't something good. It also didn't help that there was some of the liquid coming out from under the shed door as it was slightly creaked open "I know I closed that door..." he mumbled to himself as he carefully pushed it open, carefully lookin go around before slowly  walking inside to find out who or what was behind the goo mess. He surprisingly found nothing to explain what had caused the mess, but what he found even weirder was when he walked back out after putting the ladder away, all the black goo was gone without a trace. Shaking his head, Ruv went back inside, wondering if what he saw was either real or fake.

This is my first time writing something so hopefully it isn't that bad, also I know I do say (he, her, she, him)  as well as their names a lot, I'm just writing this in the style that id use to rp with people. Also hopefully this isn't too boring, I kinda expanded the paragraphs so yeah.
