Corrupted Love (Sarvente X Ruvyzvat)

Visiting town

A few days had passed since Ruv had his weird experience and since then, things had gotten much Worse. He started to develop nightmares, these nightmares usually ending with him waking up in cold sweats in the middle of the night and keeping him up till morning. What didn't help is that they always included Sarvente  dying because of him in some way, each one being  worse than the last and he had no idea how or why these nightmare started, but they wouldn't stop. These nightmares caused him to sleep less than he usually would as well as making him paranoid and more protective of Sarv than usual, not wanting to take a chance of allowing her to get hurt. She noticed Ruv's sudden change in behavior, trying to talk to him about it and help him open up a bit, but he would refuse, waving it off each time she tried by saying things like "I'm fine" or "it's nothing". She got more concerned as the days continued, worried that if things continued at this rate, he'd eventually end up hurting himself in some way. So to try and help ease Ruv's mind, Sarv planned a small trip into town, picking out a few places and stores for them to visit together in hopes that it would work.

She glanced over at Ruv who was sitting on a chair nearby with his arms crossed, he looked exhausted, having bags under his eyes as well as some of his hair messily poking out from under his ushanka. "Hey Ruv, I wanted to go out and explore the town a bit more or maybe even convert some others.  Would you maybe, want to come with me?" She asked, knowing he'd agree because of how attached he had been acting lately. "Sure" he agreed with a nod, getting up from his seat and slightly stretching before following Sarv to the front doors of the church as she got excited to leave."I think this will be a good time to just relax and have some fun, don't you?" She asked as she looked up at Ruv, the Russian only giving a hum in response as he locked the doors behind them. Once outside, Sarvente took a deep breath of fresh air, taking ruvyzvat's hand before starting to lead him away from the church, the two following the sidewalk down a road towards the town.

Upon their arrival, Sarvente looked around the place before saying "ruv, I think...I think something's wrong" "yeah, I think so too" he spoke as they both looked around at the destructed town, the place being dead silent as there were no other signs of life. "What do you think happened ruv?" Sarv asked as her and Ruv both began to walk down the sidewalk a bit "I don't know, but I think we should head back to the church. It may not be a good idea to hang around and wait to find out what caused this" he suggested, giving a small tug to try and head back to the church with sarv "but ruv, what if someone needs our help?" "They'll be fine" "Ruv pleeeease""no, we don't need you getting hurt or involved in this""Ruvyzvat!".  Ruv let out a deep sigh as he turned towards Sarv who seemed just as frustrated with him "At least check with me nearby, and if wr don't find anyone then we can leave""......fine" Ruv responded with another sigh as Sarv cheered up, taking his hand once more and starting to continue down the greet with him, avoiding the rubble from the nearby buildings and cars "jeez it's like a tornado came through here""uh.....yeah..." Ruv said as he noticed some corpses in a few spots, moving Sarv a bit faster away from them so that she wouldn't have to see "see look, there's nobody out here, now let's go back""Ruv we've barely walked from where we were, let's check just a little farther" she said before starting to pull him deeper into town with her. "I have a bad feeling about this...." He said as he followed along, keeping an eye out for any sudden movement.

As they walked deeper into town, and farther from the safety of the church the two eventually Got themselves lost, mostly due to them not going out often to explore the area and because with all the destroyed buildings and structures, it made it a bit harder for them to tell where they were. "Sarvente, I think we're lost" "we're not lost...we're uh, in the middle of town? I think.." she responded, not seeming  quite confident in her answer until she spotted a figure a good distance ahead of them "oh look Ruv, maybe we can ask them for some help" she suggested before heading over towards the figure "No, wait!" Ruv said as he was quick to follow her, stopping her halfway towards the figure. "Ruv, please let me go. It'll be fine I'm just asking them for help""I don't trust them..." he told her before she thought of another way to get their attention "alright then, I have another idea" she then called out to the figure "Excuse me over there! Do you mind helping us for a moment? We'd really appreciate it if you could!" After she had called out, they both watched as the person turned towards them and started to walk towards them, Sarv smiling as she said "see, I'm sure they can help us". Once the figure started to get closer, sarv's mood changes as she was able to get a better look at the person, they were covered in a black substance, eyes glowing red with a giant grin on their face along with sharp claws for hands. "Sarvente...we need to go back, now." Ruv said as he saw the person, the two slowly beginning to back away as the figure got closer. they also noticed the person was covered in Fresh Blood, Ruv taking quick action of lifting up Sarv into his arms and moving aside just as the person tried to attack the two of them. "I knew this was a bad idea...." he spoke to himself under his breath.
