Corrupted Love (Sarvente X Ruvyzvat)

Ice cream trip

**WARNING A BIT OF VIOLENCE/GORE AND FIGHTING**

Ruv jumped aside once again as the person had taken another swipe at the two, getting an uneasy feeling as he watched their grin grow unnaturally bigger. "Don't mind us, we'll be leaving now" he spoke before turning and starting to run away from the person, carrying sarvente bridal style in his arms as he jumped over a few objects and used them to his advantage while the person had began to chase them down. Running through the trashed streets, Ruv looked around for a possible safe spot to hide Sarv in so that he could deal with the issue, but sadly he had no luck in doing so. Instead, he made sure they were a good distance away before gently setting Sarv down, having to resort to keeping her behind him while he'd deal with the enemy "Sarvente, stay behind me" he told her while the other had caught up to the two of them, letting out a distorted laugh as it slowly started to approach them once again. The person dragged its claws on a building wall nearby as it made its way towards them, leaving a long claw streak Along the side of the building as if to show off how sharp they were before making a quick dash for Sarv. Although they were fast, Ruv was faster, punching the person square in the face and using enough force  to send them crashing into a nearby car, demolishing it. "Great, now that that's dealt with I think we should go now!" Sarvente suggested in a bit of a worried tone, she didn't like what was going on "No.....it's not over...." Ruv spoke as he held his arm out to prevent Sarv from moving away from him. She gave him a confused look before turning her attention towards the destroyed car, getting chills as she saw the person get up as if nothing had happened even though they had gotten impaled by a piece of metal as well as a broken jaw and nose from Ruv's punch. It spooked her out even more when they suddenly started laughing, their jaw hanging open a bit as it seemed to split open. "Do they not feel pain!?" She scaredly asked as Ruv glared at them while responding "it does not seem like it"

It wasn't long before the person had lunged at them again, trying to maneuver around Ruv to attack Sarv after seeing that she could  possibly be an easy target, but Ruv wouldn't allow it, punching the person down into the ground and listening as a loud cracking sound came from them as their scull possibly cracked from impact with the concrete. "Sarvente....Do not look, and cover your ears" Ruv sternly told her, making sure she did as instructed  before turning his attention back to the person lying on the ground, he noticed they were attempting to get up once again, telling them "rest peacefully" before lifting his foot up, and stomping down on their head with all his strength, watching as their scull split open from impact with his boot, their blood splattering around on Ruv and the concrete followed by a gross squishing sound.as his boot rested in whatever mush remained left of their head. Once he had finished them off, he picked up sarvente once more, beginning to walk away as she uncovered her eyes and ears "Ruv, what happened?" "I did something you wouldn't like, and took care of them."  It took her a moment to realize what he had meant, but once she understood, she looked down, feeling a bit bad that it had to end that way for the person. "We'll just retrace our steps" Ruv spoke as he was carrying Sarv "and we won't talk to anyone else we see, we don't know what they'll try to do" "okay...." Sarv responded, being quiet as she was going over what had just happened in her mind.

Ruv felt a bit bad as sarvente was staying quiet and in her thoughts, he knew she was only trying to make things better but it sadly didn't go as she had planned. As he was carrying her, he spotted an abandoned ice cream shop nearby, heading towards it before carefully taking her inside, making sure there wasn't another one of Those people around before setting her down into one of the table booths "Huh? Ruv what are you doing?" Sarv asked confused and concerned as to why they had stopped, watching as Ruv went to a freezer behind the counter and opened it. "Ruv?" She asked once again before seeing as he got back up with a popsicle in hand, heading back over and handing it to her "here, it's not much but I hope it can cheer you up". Sarv stared at him for a moment before saying "Ruv....A person or thing or, Whatever it is tried attacking us just now, and all you can think about ice cream!?" She said a bit loud. This slightly startled Ruv as she rarely ever yelled, especially at him. Upon realizing what she had done, she apologized "I'm sorry Ruv...I just...you killed that person too and I just, I don't know how to deal with this for the moment" resting her face down on the table she let out a sigh "I do appreciate you're offer, just....I think I need a moment to process this, okay?" "it's kay, I get it" he said with a nod, putting the sweet treat back where he had gotten it before sitting in the seat across from Sarv, letting her take a moment to think.

Once she was good to go again, she sat up, taking a breath before seeming to return to her normal self "alright, I think I'm good now, what about you Ruv?" She asked as he nodded and questioned "did you still want to take an ice cream or two before we leave? You may not be able to get it again for a bit" Sarv nodded as she got up from her seat, going over to the small freezer, taking out an ice cream for herself before opening a portal and sending the freezer full of ice cream through it. ".....Sarvente, you promised not to use your powers...""I did but....ice cream..." she spoke as he let out a sigh "okay fine,  I'll let that slide, but now you can't use them anymore""okay, I won't use them unless it's like a last resort" she said as she went over to where Ruv was, waiting for him to get up before they started to make their way towards the door, exiting the small ice cream shop before being greeted by more people, all of them looking similar to the first, covered in a black substance, red eyes, sharp claws, and an unnatural toothy grin. "Great....more to deal with" Ruv said with a small groan as he looked at the others, Sarv being quick to move behind him for protection as she had started to eat her popsicle as well.

I hope these chapters aren't as short as I think they are, and hopefully they're entertaining
