Laura's POV
I woke up with my head resting on Riker's chest from last night. I smirked as I thought about it and sat up. "Where are you going?" I turned around to face Riker, "I have to go to the office to work." He groaned and sat up, "Right. I had fun last night, I wish those nights were more occasional." I shook me head chuckling and changed quickly. I bend down and kissed his cheek. "I'll text you when I can" I whispered in his ear. He nodded and I left the room.
I walked down the stairs and realized that I was already late to work. "Do you need a ride?" I faced towards the living room and saw Ross. "Oh god you scared me Ross." He stood up. He was wearing his police uniform. That uniform that makes me think of unspeakable things. I checked my watch one last time, "Please I'm running late." He walked out and I followed. He opened up my car door and said, "Good thing we both work at the police department." I smiled and just got into the car. Being around with him always made me nervous, which I didn't know why, maybe because I have sex with his brother? I don't really know.
On the way to the police department, Ross and I didn't talk to each other. Until we got there. I had just gotten into the car when he blurted out, "Laura, are you dating Riker?" I giggled, "No, why would you think that?" He played with badge, which he still had in his hand, "Because I mean you guys have sex and stuff and you can't deny that cause I heard you guys last night." I walked up to him and put his badge on for him, "We are friends with occasional benefits. We aren't dating...I think." He smiled at me "Good cause that means I have permission to do this."
Before I could say anything, he pushed me against the car and we were making out. I pulled away, "Wait, what are you doing? You don't talk to me on the car ride over here but as soon as we get off you want to make out?" Before he answered, I pushed him out of the way and went inside to the police department.
~After work~
I was starting to walk to the bus stop when Ross stopped me, "Laura I'm so sorry about earlier I just wanted to know what it felt like to kiss you. Please forgive me." He gave me that sweet innocent smile and I bit my lip. "Fine, if you give me a ride home," I smirked. He giggled, "It's a deal."
We arrived and I got off, "Thanks for the ride." Ross smiled, "Yeah. Hey Laura, I was wondering if you wanted to go get some coffee tomorrow morning?" I blushed, "Only if it's Starbucks." He chuckled, "Alright then, I'll pick you up at 8." I giggled, "Alright bye."
I soon as I walked into the apartment something felt strange. I just ignored it and went to go shower. When I got out of the shower, I laid down in bed and watched the news. The big news was that there a murder out on the loose. I chuckled. All murders in LA get captured the next day. I turned off the tv and went to sleep.
Killer's POV
Don't worry Laura. I'll start off by killing random people, you and your closest friends are saved for last. Especially Ross. You getting mad when you guys were making out was the best. Oh and who could forget sleeping with his brother. I hope you guys used protection, I wouldn't want to kill people who are pregnant. Trust me, I won't be captured tomorrow or any day.
