Two years later
It was the night of their three year anniversary, Bucky and Niyah had gone to Truluck's for dinner.
"You alright? You seem nervous." Niyah said
"Never." He said
Earlier in the week, Bucky had received an anonymous call that went voicemail cause he was in class. The voicemail was clearly a threatening one but the person used a voice modularater. He tried to brush it off but he did feel more nervous when they were together cause the person threatened him and Niyah.
After dinner, they were heading out the door she stopped him and kissed him.
"I have one more surprise to celebrate tonight baby." He said as he rested his forehead against hers. She smiled up at him and kissed him.
"Well then lets go." She said
They began to walk off hand in hand together. As other customers were walking to and from the restaurant they heard gun shots. They saw Bucky and Niyah fall to the ground as they reached their car.
A few of them rushed over to them, while the others called 911. Bucky was going to propose that night all their friends and families were waiting at the spot. James' phone began to ring as did Niyah's mom.
Color drained from their faces, "Everyone to the hospital now. James and Niyah have been shot." James said
