07 | Sparring

    After that day, Y/n first told Naruto what happened since he was the first one that came in her room and asked, after all he's the hokage. After that, a few hours later she also told Boruto what happened. Y/n didn't want to go outside anymore after that, and she wanted less and less to see people. She doesn't want them to miss her once she's gone, so they better be without knowing her in the first place. "Y/n." Naruto came in the kitchen as Y/n was eating her cereal. She looked up at him with a hum. "Do you want to come with us? Boruto and Kawaki will spare together, you could watch." Naruto offered, Y/n was a little interested in his request. She's never seen a ninja fight before, it would be pretty cool to see it and see what's it all about. What's so cool about being a ninja, that is. "Yeah, sure." Y/n left her cereal and Naruto gave her a smile, Y/n followed after him. Once in the hallway, Y/n spotted Kawaki and Boruto who were already ready and waiting.

"Wait, she's coming with us?" Kawaki asked, staring at Y/n. Immediately feeling guilty, Y/n began to change her mind. "No, nevermind. I'm going upstairs." Y/n took a step back and turned to leave, maybe she should be in her room instead. She won't be in this world for long anyway, and if she comes all she'll make is more memories to make her hesitate. And more memories to make them cry. She doesn't want them to feel sad once she's gone, that's all. "No, you can come with us. Right Kawaki?" Boruto growled his last words, glaring at Kawaki as in a warning. "Sure." Kawaki just looked away, but it didn't sound like he meant it. "Come on." Naruto nudged her gently forward, Y/n didn't feel like going now but she didn't have a choice. Following after Naruto, Y/n kept her distance from both Kawaki and Boruto, not wanting to be near them. Where are they going anyway? Where do they go when they train? Hm. They headed out of the Konoha village and Boruto fell in beside her. "Have you ever seen a ninja fight?" Boruto asked her, Y/n shook her head and Boruto looked slightly surprised.

"You didn't watch Konoha chunin exams? Surely you've seen some movies?" Boruto suggested, but Y/n actually didn't. She rubbed her hand a little uncomfortably. "I've never had a TV before. There was only one TV but that was in my parents room, they never let me watch..." Y/n admitted, Boruto gave her a apologetic look. "Right, sorry." But then his eyes suddenly seem to lit up. "Actually you could watch movie with me! It'll be your first time, right?" Boruto grinned at her, Y/n nervously sweat dropped. "Ah, yeah." Y/n nodded, it will be her first time. "Great, I'll pick an awesome movie tonight. It'll be fun, believe me." Boruto said, Y/n gave him a nod. Maybe she should try it, sounds fun. "Boruto!" Someone yelled from afar, Y/n looked around and saw a girl from the distance she's never seen before, running after him. "Oh, Sumire." Boruto gave her a nod with a smile, Sumire stopped in front of him and returned the smile with a giggle. "Boruto, I was thinking if maybe... You wanted to go to Thunder Burger with me?" Sumire offered, her whole face blushed as she waited for a response. Boruto blinked at her before looking at Naruto and Kawaki who stopped and we're waiting.

"Sorry Sumire, but I can't. I'm sparring with Kawaki today." Boruto apologized, looking guilty. Sumire seemed very disappointed all of a sudden and she looked down. "O-oh. It's fine." Sumire said, she was about to go but Boruto called after her, "We can go to Thunder Burger later!" Sumire gave him a small smile before walking off. Y/n has no idea who this Sumire girl is but she doesn't like the way she looked at Boruto at all. Y/n stared after Sumire angrily, hoping the girl would turn around and look at her. 'I don't even know why I'm mad all of a sudden. What even am I doing?' She's getting too carried away... "Don't worry, you always come first Y/n~" Boruto teased her with a wide smile, he must've noticed her look as she stared after Sumire. Y/n blinked at him for a couple of times, her face blushing red. "I-it's not like that..." Y/n started, she didn't mean it like that. "Then what's it like?" Boruto asked, Y/n was unable to respond, she opened her mouth and closed it again before looking away and mumbling 'nevermind', she sped up, leaving Boruto behind her. She could hear him chuckle, but it faded away quickly.
