Harry's P.O.V. (age 6)
Today is the day that I take Madison to the doctors for her yearly shots. This is going to be one hectic day especially if maddi finds out where we're going. To make sure she doesn't know I blind folded her, Hey you gotta do what you gotta do. As I collected her and her favorite stuffed animal I put her in the car.
"Hazzy where are we going?" She asks innocently. It's so cute because she has a blind fold on and she tips her head back to try to see if she can see something.
"Uh for a ride love." I say nervously. But she just keeps asking questions and it's starting to get annoying but then I have to put myself in her place.. if I was a blind folded 6 year old I would ask the same questions.
"Maddi baby, we're here and I know you're not going to like it where we are but I promise once we're done I'll give you lots of cuddles and we'll go get some ice cream okay?" I say hesitantly. Hopefully she cooperates with me.
"Okay hazzy, but where are we?" She asks cutely and as soon as she does I take the blind fold off and her face falls completely. As soon as she sees the familiar building she holds onto the car door.
"No hazzy! I'm not going in!" She snaps and it takes me two strong pulls and some tickling to get her to let go of the car door. Once we're inside the building I walk up to the front desk and sign her in while she goes to play with the toys.
Sitting down in one of the chairs I watch her happily playing with another little boy. They look cute playing together and it's when he leans in and kisses her cheek because he got called back into the office, that I realize how fast she growing up. Sooner or later I'll have to let her go and she'll start dating, then comes the marriage, and OMG she'll be leaving me and no I won't have it.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when the nurse called us back. As soon as Madison heard her voice though she screamed bloody murder and ran towards one of the chairs and clung to it. I sighed getting up and got down on my knees.
"Love, what did I say? If you were good we'd get icecream and lots of cuddles. Right?" I ask nicely. As soon as I said that she got up hesitantly and clung to me instantly. Carrying back through the door I sat her on the bed.
"Hello Madison, how are you?" The doctor asks. And Madison as usual just gets shy and looks down at her fingers.
"Good." She mumbles. And I laugh lightly because she acting so cute right now.
"Alright love, we're just going to give you your shot now and then you'll be all done! If you sit still I'll give you a sucker and a sticker okay? The doctor asks and she just nods. As the doctor is getting the shot ready I take Madison in my arms to hold her still.
"Okay love, are you ready?" The doctor asks and we both nod. As soon as the doctor sticks her in the arm she starts sobbing and the sight breaks my heart. I thank the doctor and we walk out of the office after she got her sticker and sucker. Buckling her in I get in and drive to the icecream parlor. I get Madison out and we walk inside and order. Maddi orders a vanilla and sprinkle icecream cone and i order the same. As we finish i get her back into the car and head home.
Once we get home I see that my princess is getting sleepy so I take her coat and shoes off and walk to my room.
"Want to watch Ariel baby?" I ask softly and she nods. Turning on the dvd I hop in bed and she automatically cuddles into my chest. Half way into the movie I hear little snores and look down to see my baby sleeping. Kissing her forehead I tuck her in even closer to my side and drift off into a deep sleep myself but not before whispering.
"I love you kitten, forever and always."
