"Becca, let's get a move on! If we don't leave soon then you'll miss the bus" My mom yelled from downstairs. Good, if I miss the bus I won't have to go on the stupid senior trip.
I've dreaded going to school every day since I walked in on my boyfriend and my best friend screwing in the science lab. They didn't even bother to look or act guilty. Since that day I decided to keep my head down and just finish out my senior year bestfriends and boyfriends be damned.
"Chill out, I'm coming." I mumble as I drag my luggage to the front door. "Are you sure I can't just stay home? I can help with the cleaning. You won't even know I'm here." I tried to plea with her.
"Becca no. You can't let what happened with Josh and Sutton keep you from enjoying your senior year. You're going on this ski trip and you're going to have fun." She said looking me straight in the eye, telling me she meant it.
"Yes mom, I'm gonna have a splendid time skiing alone while my ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend cozy up next to a fire together. This trip is going to be torture." My mom just rolled her eyes at my dramatics. If only we knew just how true that statement was.

We pull up to the school to see a line of busses in the front, waiting to be filled with kids to haul to the ski resort. I say a quick goodbye to my mom, promising to call as soon as we got to the resort, and grab my luggage to make my way to the sign in table.
As I waited in line, I noticed a guy and a girl standing together a little secluded from the other groups of kids. They had their heads together talking quietly to one another.
As if feeling my gaze, they both looked up and I froze. They were gorgeous. Both had black hair and green eyes. They had to be related. I vaguely remembered something about twins arriving at our school a month ago, but I haven't seen them around yet until today.
The girl leaned over and said something to the guy, making me snap my head back to the sign in table just in time for my turn.
I sign my name and grab my luggage tag, telling me which bus I'm assigned to. I glanced back to where I saw the twins standing a moment ago, to see they were gone now. Great. They probably think I'm some kind of freak. The crazy lady with a staring problem.
I make my way to my assigned bus and hand my luggage over to the chaperone, before climbing on to claim a spot. I was internally praying that there were enough seats so I could sit alone and not have to double up with anyone, but as soon as I stepped on, I knew I had no such luck.
I take a look around and stiffen when I see Josh and Sutton sitting together, holding hands and laughing like they were the happiest people in the world. Puke.
When they notice me I wince. "Ew. Baby, look. They put us on the same bus as the trash." Sutton whined and I rolled my eyes. "Don't worry babe, she will ride in the back and won't bother us." he looked me in the eye. "Will you Becca?"
I opened my mouth to say something when I heard my name being called from the back of the bus. I looked for who said my name and my jaw almost dropped to the floor. The girl from this morning was pushing her brother from her seat until he stood up and took another one right across the isle. Leaving the spot right next to her free.
I blow out a sigh of relief and make my way down the aisle. When I passed Sutton, she stuck her foot out last minute, tripping me. I quickly righted myself before I face planted and glared back at Sutton. Bitch.
I move down the aisle and stop between the twins. The girl pats her seat again urging me to sit. I nervously look around before taking a deep breath and taking my seat.
Here we go.
