I heard murmuring when I came to. I was sitting against a warm, hard chest. An arm was wrapped around my middle, another cradling the back of my neck.

"We can't just sit here. Becca was attacked." I heard Rogue say. I slowly opened my eyes and turned my head to take in my surroundings. Before I could say anything, the arms around me tighten "oh baby, thank God you're awake." I looked up to see it was Logan's lap I was sitting on.

He cradled my face in his hands and looked me in my eyes. "You need to tell me what happened sweet girl. When you didn't come back we went looking for you. Rogue found you on the backroom floor."

I looked from Logan, to Rogue, to Finn. I take a deep breath before I spoke. "I was followed into the bathroom by a man. The same man I accidently bumped into yesterday right when we got here and I got separated from you guys."

"What kind of creep follows a girl into the bathroom?" Rogue asked at the same time Logan growled "He fucking did what?" We didn't have time to discuss that. I rushed on, "He's the one who took Kelly. He told me that I have an hour to decide who will stand trial next. When I told him he was fucking crazy, he hit me and left the bathroom."

I pat my pockets looking for my phone. "Shit, what time is it? How long have I been out?" He said we only had an hour before another person stood trial. "About 30 minutes." Logan murmured in my ear, still holding me close to his chest.

"Hurry, get up. We have to go tell principle Stanley and the other faculty, they need to know this is serious and not just a rouse." said Finn, pacing back and forth. "Hell no, they're not gonna believe us Finn. For all they know, Kelly is just missing. They actually want us roaming this place looking for her! No. We need to figure this out on our own."

"I agree with Rogue with this one." I chimed in. Logan looked at me in shock. "What the hell Becca. You were just knocked out and left on a bathroom floor, and you want to 'figure this out on our own'?" the look of disbelief clear on his face.

I go to lift myself off Logan's lap, but he gripped me tighter. I glared back at him and he finally relented. I need to be standing when we had this conversation. We were all in trouble here and we needed to work this out together if we were gonna figure out what the hell was going on and who the fuck that man was.

I placed my hands on my hips and faced all three of them. "Listen. We were all there in the lobby when when the lights went out. When they came back on there was that message on the wall. 'Those who prey on the weak will be punished.' When I bumped into that man yesterday, it was right before Sutton and her bitches called me trash. I'm pretty sure it was Kelly, actually, who made the comment. If I'm right, this guy is taking out bullies."

"And he expects you to choose who's gonna stand trial next? How does he expect you to tell him? I doubt he's gonna be walking around here being social when you know he's the reason Kelly's missing.." Rogue did have a point. "We have to assume he has eyes on us."

My phone pinged with an incoming message. My nose scrunched up in confusion. "I thought you didn't have service." Finn accused. I pinned him with a glare, but Logan answered for me. "Back off, she doesn't"

I checked to see that I still didn't have service, then quickly pulled up the message. It was from an unknown number.

"30 minutes and counting Becca. You choose, or you will be the one taking the guilty party's place." I read the message aloud. A shriek came from Rogue. "No Becca, He's gonna try to take you?"

I looked down at my phone, shaking in fear. Logan came up from behind me and circled my waist with his arms. "Like hell he will. Nobody's gonna touch you baby, I promise. I got you."

I wanted to believe him so bad. But there was no way I could give this psycho someone else's name. I can't have their blood on my hands. I just shook my head. When I spoke, the tone of my voice was final.

"We're gonna spend the next 30 minutes finding a way to get off this fucking mountain, contact the police, anything to get in touch with anyone that's off this mountain. If we can't do that, then we will fight. He might want me to take place of the person standing trial, but I'll be damned if I let him get his hands on me easily."
