Hospital was lonely, tears slowly ran down Jacobs cheeks as he stared at the white ceiling.

The sudden shock from what he saw finally hit him... The crash... The death of his father...

The words he yelled before his father died.

Jacob burst out complete sobs, covering his face with his bandaged up hands " d..dad... I didn't mean what I said..." He stuttered through load cries.

" Jacob..." A tired female voice yelled as the sound of high heeled shoes could be heard. He looked up only to be gently tackled into a hug by his mother " I'm so glad your safe" she sobbed, stroking his back slowly.

Jacob knew he wasn't the one that needed to reassuring... His mother needed it more.

Weeks, that's what the doctor said, weeks for my leg to heel and for my shock of the crash to fade from my mind.

Every now and again my younger brother and sister will visit, setting down new flowers to replace the old ones that have withered and wilted.

They will walk into my room with sad smiles and leave with happy ones, knowing I'm safe.

But... It's my mum that's taking it hard, every time she comes in she looks tired, dark bags under her eyes. She had a slouched position and now.. She wore long sleeved tops... What is she hiding?.
