Bruce headed straight to his Batcomputer as he removed his cape and cowl revealing his messy hair and eye shadow. He also removed his eye lenses and scanned it on the Batcomputer that was able to replay everything Bruce saw that night in case he missed a clue.

ALFRED: I take it things hasn't gone too well tonight?

BRUCE: Apparently....

Alfred brought a tray of refreshments for Bruce and placed it at a desk nearby.

ALFRED: So, tonight seemed productive, I presume?

BRUCE: No. The GCPD found a new victim at New York City Arconia Building.

ALFRED: Wait, New York? What were you and Gordon doing there?

BRUCE: Gordon believes that the suspect in New York is the same killer here in Gotham. Parts of their faces were missing. The victim's name was Tim Kono.

ALFRED: Tim Kono? Hmm... I think I've heard that name before. He worked on that investment firm in New York. I believe he already met the chairmen of Wayne Enterprises.

BRUCE: I'm not so sure about. I haven't been there for long time. All I know he was eventually fired two days ago when he 'misplaced' the fundings for the new hospital.

While investigating the case, Bruce opened the news on the Batcomputer's monitor.

JACK RYDER: Our top story for tonight, folks: Police are still investigating the killings that has been going around Gotham lately, but this reporter suggests that the GCPD are making an alliance with the masked vigilante known as 'The Batman'. As we all know, The Batman has become one of the top stories in Gotham. He was mostly known for stopping the Red Hood Gang from the Ace Chemicals heist last year.

ALFRED: It appears you become quite a celebrity.

BRUCE: I'm not looking for any praise, Alfred.

Bruce was so stressed out for tonight and all he wanted to do is hunt down the killer and put an end to this chaos. Alfred was starting to get tired of having this situation with Bruce again and again.

ALFRED: Alright.... Get some shower. Our accounting friends at Wayne Enterprises are coming for breakfast.

BRUCE: Here? Why?

ALFRED: Because I couldn't get you to go there!

BRUCE: I ain't got no time for this!

This cause a heated argument between the two.

ALFRED: It's getting serious, Bruce. If this continues, It won't be long until you have nothing left.

BRUCE: I don't care about that. Any of that.

ALFRED: You don't care about your family's legacy?

BRUCE: What I'm doing is my family's legacy. I can't change things here. I can't have an affect. I don't care what happens to me.

ALFRED: That's what I'm afraid of.

BRUCE: Alfred, stop. You're not my father.

As Bruce said those words, it really hurt Alfred. He was silenced by what Bruce have said to him, despite all of the sacrifices he made when he was a boy.

At the end, Alfred tried to not let it bother him.

ALFRED: I'm well aware.

Before Alfred sadly walked away, he turns his head to Bruce one last time.

Bruce closed his eyes and softly let out a sigh of frustration. He still worked on the murder case through Batcomputer while Alfred took the elevator upstairs.

To be continued.....
