"Y/n.." you heard a faint voice call out. "Y/n wake up" you heard the voice again and felt a small hand on your shoulders. Your eyes slowly started to open. Your eyes blurry, you blinked a few times to adjust your vision. "Sorry to wake you" Tanjiro spoke in a soft tone. You looked down and noticed nezuko still laying on you, sleeping.

"Oh shit" your voice low and sleepy. "I forgot I was still in your room" you slowly started to move nezuko off your lap. "Im sorry" you replied, slowly getting up. "No no it's fine! It's just getting late out is all. You should head back to your room" he gave you a bright smile and it was clear he was exhausted from all the training.

"Oh my god it's already night? I slept all day!?" Your eyes widen a little. "Ya. You were knocked out" he let out a soft laugh. "Oh I should get going then, thank you for letting me see her" you bowed "no problem. You can see her any time!" He bowed back.

You walked out the room and started to head to yours.

Today was the day I should've been training not sleeping...ok but in my defensive nezoku is adorable.

You let out a sigh and walked into your room. You walked near the closet to pull out your uniform.

You slowly started to get dressed. You put on your haori and grabbed your sword and hooked it to your belt. You slipped on your boots and made your way out of the building.

Damn it feels like it's been forever.

You felt your new uniform, dusting it off. Your arm rested on the end of your sword as you finally made it out.

The cold air brushed your face making you shiver. You took in a deep breath and let out a sigh. You loved the feeling of the night. It was always so calming. Even though Nothing good ever happened at night it was still slightly comforting.

"What you are doing up?" You jumped at the sudden sound.

How the fuck did I not hear him coming.

"Sorry, but shouldn't you be resting?" You turned around and saw the boy from the woods and your face grew hot. "Sitting in a bed all day gets tiring" you responded, turning your head back "you also took my kill back there" he paused.

"I was supposed to kill the twelve kizuki" his voice nonchalant. "Welp. First come first serve. You were too slow" you turned back and smiled at him. "Rude." he ran pass you not giving you a second look.

You just shrugged him off and started to just walk around. The breeze sending shivers throughout your body. "Y/n?" A male from behind you spoke so close to your ear you jumped. "Jeez" you brought your hands to your heart from the scare. "Sorry! Didn't mean to Startle you" rengoku smiled.

"You guys are good at sneaking up" you let out a sigh. "No you're just not aware of your surroundings!" He said. Even though it was an insult. The way he said it made it feel normal and slightly comforting.

You just hummed, not knowing what to say to him. "What are you doing up this late?" He questioned, laying his hands on his sword. "I wanted to train" you replied and you examined his body. Your eye brows raised as you finally took in his appearance.

"What are you doing up this late?" You asked and you couldn't get your eyes off his bright smile. "I have a mission! But you should rest"

"No, I'm fine but thank you for worrying but before you go can I ask you something?" You felt a knot in your stomach as you started to regret speaking. "Yes! Of course" his smile never wiped off.

"Can I come with you? It would be a pleasure to fight with you or even just watch" you bowed and shut your eyes praying he said yes.

"Are you sure you want to come!? I'd be there for a few days" you quickly stood straight with your eyes widen. "Yes! I'm sure. I'm more then sure" you felt a smile creep on your face. "Well then! Do you need anything?" He asked and you can see he was glad you asked.

"Nope! I'm already set!" You felt your heart race. "Welp just follow behind me. You think you can keep up?" He asked in a sweet tone. "Yup!" You smiled and he just started running. Your eyes widen and you tried to quickly follow behind him.

As you tried to run behind him your heart kept jumping out of your chest. You've never smiled like this before. You were excited. Seeing a piller in action made you feel like a child getting a toy they've always wanted.

It was clear the pillars had way more skill then you and seeing them fight In person!? The thought excited you.
