Inside the cave system, Ms. Tano and Master Sai made haste through the tunnel and reached the great pool.
The Jedi Master looked for other paths out, none forthcoming.
"Is there no other way out?"
The Togruta female shook he white crowned head.
"There are tunnels beneath the water, but.."
The Cavern filled with a deep breathing, it echoed throughout the chamber.
Ahsoka ignited her twin white sabers.
Master Sai began to wade in the water. He turned to look at Ahsoka.
"What are you doing?! Come on, we can swim. He can't follow in that armor."
The Togruta fixed her great round eyes on the darkness.
"I have been running for far too long."
The Jedi Master shouted.
"Don't do this!"
Emerging from the shadow of the cave was ruby light that grew brighter and brighter. The darkness of the opening seemed to stir until at last the Dark Lord could be seen.
Ahsoka shouted to Master Sai.
"Go! Leave me!"
The White Robbed Jedi dove into the water, and swam in shadow.
Lord Vader paused only a short distance from the Togruta female. His breaths echoing in the cave.
"We meet again, for the last time."
Ahsoka held her sabers in a winged span.
"When I left you, I was a learner. Now I am free."
The Sith Lord chuckled.
"The only freedom for you lies in death."
Lord Vader lunged, his ruby blade like a spear. Ahsoka parried it and made flurry of cuts, that sweeped around her head and legs, colliding with the Sith's blade, causing sparks to fly, and fall to the rocky ground.
Vader's breaths increased.
"Good. You have control of your fear."
Ahsoka teeth clinched beneath the swirl of white and orange skin and lips.
"I do not fear you! I fear nothing!"
Vader parried another flurry of blows, this time he was pressed against a column made by the cave, the rock was ashen, and with a stroke, Vader cut it in two, making it fall in twain. Debris dropped from ceiling, as spikes came hurling at Ahsoka. The Dark Lord used his free hand to command the Force, Ahsoka felt her windpipe closing, she rose up into the air, dropping her twin curved saber hilts in the water. Like arrows, the spikes fell from above. Vader stepped into view.
"All too easy."
The Togruta's eyes were filled with anger. She pointed her hand at the Dark Lord, emerald bolts began to form around her finger tips. Then those finger tips became on current of energy that struck the Sith Lord, he let go of her and fell back against the felled rock and shouted.
"Ahhhhhh!"
The circuits on Vader's chest went into chaos, the green and red lights blinking. His breaths became shallow. Ahsoka took her twin blades and leap on to his chest, she prepared to dig the blades into him, when her head filled with a face of a young boy with blond hair, and images of him clade in black with curled locks smiling.
The Force flashbacks made her hault. The Great Lord of the Sith was at her mercy. Ahsoka stepped off him and deactivated her blades.
"I can't.. I can't.. I won't."
Vader stirred and shouted.
"Ahsoka! Help me!"
The Togruta was wading in shallows of the pool when she froze and turned her head.
"I can't help you.. you are beyond saving."
With that the Togruta dove into the water.
Vader shouted in pain.
"I hate you!!!"
