Forever

Chapter 1

Behind the door, I heard endless tapping. I was about to open the door when I felt a sharp pain in my neck when darkness surrounded me I heard a rough, husky voice say "Ah shit I didn't mean to do that"

                                                                                       1 day earlier

Hi, I'm Athena I died 5 years ago so yes I am a ghost. My best friend is also a ghost his name is Max. No, we are not together nor will we ever be together because he died, a couple of days after his wedding about three years ago but he will always love his wife with what he says. I have long brown hair, pale skin, blue eyes with green specks, I'm about 5'4. No, I can't float through walls. I'm about the same as a human but dead and I can run really fast. Enough about me. I was walking through the woods when I heard the sound of footsteps I was a little bit worried and 1 more hour to get back to my cabin. 

An hour later I reached my ugly cabin that I called home. The brown wood was staring back at me. When I was about to turn the rusty door handle, I heard rustling, when I looked behind me I saw nothing, so I opened the beaten door into what I call home. My cabin is a little troubled, I had a beat-up couch, a wooden table in front of the couch, a small wooden table next to my small kitchen. In my kitchen, there are a few countertops, a fridge, and an old stove. Down the hall from the kitchen is my bedroom. In my bedroom is a small bookcase,(found it in the cabin when I found it) a queen-size bed, a small bed-stand, and a small dresser where I put the little clothes I have and a small closet where I put some souvenirs that I have. In the bookcase, there are some very beat-up books I've read all of them a few times. Don't judge me a girl gets bored by herself.

 I walked out of my bedroom and walked down the hall into the kitchen and put the dead dish on one of the countertops. Yes, I can eat but I do rarely because I'm not always hungry. I got the fish ready then I put it on the stove out in the backyard. I'm surprised all the things still work. It took like 45 minutes to cook. When the food was done I ate it at my table. As I finished the last bit of fish I put my plate in the sink. I walked down the hallway and entered my room I walked over to my dresser and opened the third drawer and got my Pj's on. I fell onto my bed, and let the darkness envelop me.

This is the first book I have ever written I don't think it will be very good cause I think I'm bad at writing. This is the first chapter of Forever thanks for reading it. This book I wrote it for a school assignment for my writing class and decided to write it but I added some more detail and some bad words.
