We've been walking for a while, back a couple of miles we turned left then right then actually, I lost track. Also a while back something jumped out at us and I booked it using my cool ability, Quincy had to use his "vampire ability" to catch up to me. Ha loser. I was about to say another thing to Quincy about my old life but we heard the screech again and walked south. 30 minutes Quincy has been annoying me this whole I was about to tell him to shut up but then we walked into this clearing. I saw a screeching bird perched on a tree branch.

Me being stupid said "Welp, this is the sound. That is depressing we went looking for an interesting sound and it was just a bird." "No offense," I said to the bird.

"No it isn't you idiot," Quincy said

"How?" I asked

"Listen closely," he said.

"Oh, I hear it," I said making myself on the head.

"Good to know I have someone who can hear" he mumbled.

"Hey, I heard that," I said loudly making the bird fly away.

"Look what you did," he said pointing his finger in the direction of the bird.

"Well I'm sorry"

"It's okay," he replied.

"Okay," I said.

"Okay," he whispered.

We continued our journey. We've been walking for a while. It was getting dark. I asked Quincy if he wanted to set up camp he agreed. We finished putting up the tent  I went into the tent Quincy followed me I laid down and let darkness surround me.

I was walking with Quincy when we stopped because we walked into an opening. I was looking around to see where we were when I looked back Quincy was on the ground he wasn't moving he looked dead. I then crouched next to him shaking him screaming and sobbing saying "Quincy" "Quincy wake up" " Quincy I need you" " Quincy" "Quincy I love you" I said the last part whispering.

I woke up with wet cheeks and Quincy standing over me.
