Unnatural: The Reverse

Chapter Four

Daylon awoke in a lab. He saw his reverse on the other side of the room.

"You!" said Daylon, "You're the one who knocked me out! Why? Where's Zach?"

"Oh good, you're awake." Said the Reverse Daylon. "Your friend is fine. He's back on your Earth. I got word that he gathered up a group of students to fight my army. A brave one, that one."

"You won't win. Zach built enough weapons to crumble the military."

"They aren't as powerful as the weapons we built here. We destroyed our world by mining our natural resources to create plasma devices. The weapons worked, but it caused global warming and climate change to ravage the world. The government fell apart, so I took charge and started destroying worlds to save ours, but even the energy from those worlds wasn't enough... until you came along."

"You can't win. Zach said our apocalypse wouldn't happen for fifty million years, but if you mine on my earth, it will be speed up!"

"DO I LOOK LIKE I CARE? Besides, this is only a temporary solution. Once we have your Earth conquered, we'll conquer your entire universe. Then we'll have a new world for every apocalypse in the universe."

"You can't do that."

"Oh but I can. And I will. As soon as we win this war. And that likely won't be any time soon. We've been fighting there for two month your time."

"Two month.. how long was I unconscious for?"

"One month here."

"Where?"

"A lab on my Earth."

"Why?"

"I've been learning about you. You're a carbon copy of me. Right down to the anatomy. You even think as I would. If we switched places, nobody would notice."

Just then a loud bang was heard.

"I have to go check that out." And then he left.

As soon as he was gone, the door burst open.

"Daylon!" said a familiar voice.

"Zach!" said Daylon

Zach broke Daylon free from the lab table. "Let's get out of here."
