The sky tinted a pink and orange hue, the light reflecting on the face of the small boy sitting in a grass field, the wind blowing through his fluffy gray hair as he wrote in his little notepad.

"What would I even say..."He muttered to himself.He was thinking of a ways he could confess to the boy he's loved for months, Shun Kazami.And yes, he wrote his ideas down...and acted them out---But anyway, he was quite troubled doing this.The thing is, Shun is really close to another boy.Noah suspects he likes him, and he's really worried about if that's true or not.And considering the fact that Noah's entire body is filled with jealousy when he sees Shun hugging him or even just hanging out with him makes matters worse.If that's true, just imagine how crushed Noah would be if he really was rejected.

Noah tried to get all of the negativity out his head, but still frantically scribbled his ideas down.He was so caught up and focused in it, he didn't hear anything at all, including the faint footsteps behind him."Noah?"The voice said softly.No answer."Noah!"The anonymous person called out once more.This time, they caught his attention, but startled him."What??"Noah said, turning around.It was Shun."Oh.Hi, Shun."He smiled."What are you doing here?"."Well, I came to talk to you about something.."Shun answered, walking up to Noah and kneeling down beside him."So..what is it that you wanna talk about?"Noah questioned with a nervous feeling inside him.Shun sighed, and closed his eyes.'Oh no..'Noah thought.'Something bad is definitely gonna happen..'

"Noah, I...I know that you dont like Dan."Shun said calmly, his eyes now half lidded."W-What?Why do you think I..."Noah trailed off, not even having the guts to look at Shun anymore."I've seen your reactions multiple times when you see me with him."Shun continued."S-Shun, its not like that, I swear.I have nothing against him."Noah half-lied."You sure?"Shun asked, looking a little concerned."I really don't to hurt your feelings with this.You know that."Noah slightly blushed at that comment."I.....I'm sure."Noah said."But there's also something else I really want to tell you."Noah stood up.This was it.This was the moment.He was going to confess.Yet little did he know, Shun was very well aware of this."Shun..I know you and me have only been friends for a few months, but.."He stopped for a moment and put his head down to hide his red face."I really like you."He smiled at the blonde, bringing his head up again.Shun looked at him in slight shock.He always had a feeling Noah liked him, but only took it as a thought.He didn't think Noah actually had feelings for him.Shun's expression suddenly shifted to a more sad one."What's wrong?"Noah asked, once again getting that same feeling of nervousness he had before."Noah, I'm very flattered, but.. I'm sorry.I like someone else.."Shun said, actually feeling a little guilty.And at that very moment, Noah's heart was shattered into a million pieces of anger and a great sadness.Noah stared at Shun with wide and saddened eyes.Noah already felt the huge lump in his throat.He felt like he was going to cry.It was only natural for him to want to.He felt his body shake and his knees go weak."Y-You know what, I'll just go, I've ruined your day enough, and you probably want me to leave, so-""No, its fine."Noah said, cutting Shun off."I can't force you to like me back."Noah mumbled.Shun couldn't bear to see his friend in this sad state.So he walked up to him, and did something Noah wouldn't excpect.He hugged him.It took Noah a few seconds to process this, but eventually he was hugging Shun back, squeezing him twice as much as Shun was squeezing him.Noah buried his face into Shun's shoulder, and that's when Shun felt something wet there.And it was spreading pretty quickly.Noah was crying, and he couldn't stop.Hes been rejected a few times, but no one has ever felt as much sympathy for him as Shun did.He really wasn't lying when he said he didn't want to hurt Noah with this.

"Thank you, Shun..."Noah whispered through his tears."Anything for a friend."Shun whispered back.

-The next day-

After what happened yesterday, Noah's life finally returned to normal.But then of course, his friends were killing him with questions."Did you really confess?"Paul asked."Does he like you back??"Felix asked."ARE YOU TWO DATING NOW?!?"Julia screamed."Paul yes, Felix no, and Julia, absolutely not."Aw man.Sorry dude."Felix sighed."Its fine."Noah replied.Then the 3 looked at him with confused faces."What?"Noah asked."How are you not fazed by this??I mean its a good thing you're not crying a river like you did over Sydney, but how??"Julia said."Well..He let me down softly...He...he hugged me.."Noah explained, blushing at the memory."HMMMMMM YA SURE HE DOESN'T LIKE YOU, NOAH?"Julia said, grinning."Yes, I'm sure.He told me he's in love with someone else."."Oh-"."Well speaking of Shun, look who's behind you, Noah."Paul said."Shun?"Noah turned around to see him standing there."Hi Noah!"He smiled.Noah greeted him, and looked down to Shun's hand, to see someone holding it.It was Dan."Hey Dan.."Noah said, avoiding eye contact with him.He knew he had to apologize, even if Dan's clueless ass had not a clue about Noah's jealousy."Um, Dan?"Noah started off."What's up?"He asked, still not getting the vibe."I'm sorry."Noah said."For what?"Dan said, confused."I...I was jealous of you for being with Shun, and I started to not like you.And I'm sorry for that."Noah explained."Oh."Dan was a little hurt at that, but he still gladly accepted Noah's apology."So um...we cool?"Noah asked."Yep."Dan replied, smiling.
