Chapter 1.

Athanasia woke up in a really good mood.

"Today's the day I'm going to confess to Lucas! So, if this feeling is what Jennette and Lily said, If this feeling is truly is love, I wouldn't mind having Lucas as my first. "                                      

Athanasia said while closing her eyes. She hummed beautifully, joining the birds singing outside her balcony. Then suddenly, a knock was heard from where the birds was chirping.

She flinched and looked to her side to see a pair of Ruby eyes waiting to be let in. She blushed furiously and walked up to the Ravenette, looking up to him. She smiled and greeted the ravenette, 

" G- good morn- " " i need to talk to you. " He cut her words out.

after his " talk. "

" siaa.. athanasiaa.. hello? earth to Nasia? " said Lucas. While waving his hand infront of her face. Nasia is still processing about what he said, he said something that suddenly gave her chills. 

" Oh.. uh, are you serious? you're going for a.. year? " Athanasia asked in a weird tone.      

Looking away to avoid the Ruby eyes thats looking for her Sapphire one.

He sighed,

" One year or.. maybe more.. I have a quest somewhere in a place.. that i can't tell you.. " He muttered while playing his long, pretty fingers.

" Is.. that so.. " she looked down at her hand, trying so hard not to cry. 

" When.. will you be going.. " she asked quietly, while slowly looking at the Ravenette's ruby eyes. 

" mmh.. as fast as i can.. and.. i'll try my best to get what i need sooner.. i'll be here before your 18th birthday atleast. " he smiled at the blonde. 

" ah oh.. uh.. " Athy doesnt know how to response to that, her heart aches so much that she felt like as if it's ripping apart.

" Can i.. meet you at the garden.. tonight? or.. atleast at 6PM " She said while giving him the fakest sweet smile ever.

He noticed that and sighed

" Alright. i'll be going tomorrow then , Princess. " he said while looking up. 

Then sudden, a knock on the Princess's room was heard, he quickly moved to the balcony to leave the room.

" Princess? who are you talking to? i am here to bathe you. " said Lily, Athanasia went up and opened the door to let the maid in, as Lucas jumped over the balcony, vanishing to the thin air.

Athanasia's POV.

I'm currently picking my outfit for the day, Lily knows today is the day im gonna confess to Lucas.

So, she is trying extra hard to make me look quote unquote, " cute and unresistable ". 

She wanders around my closet to find a the perfect outfit. Until i heard a familiar high pitched voice outside of my room, knocking.

" Princess! " i heard my cousins voice outside of my bedroom. Letting me know of her presence.

 I told her to come in as the door isn't locked. 

She came here with a sweet smile greeting me. 

" Good Morning, Princess! Are you.. ready to tell him? " She asked innocently with sparkly eyes.

" God.. she reminded me again that i'm gonna confess to Lucas " i can feel myself blushing so hard that i feel like my body is burning.

Lily found a lilac evening gown with sleeves and paired it up with a baby purple heel with mini bows on the side.

she styled my hair to a cascading half up do with a floral pin on the back. 

" Perfect! The Princess looks like a doll! if i was Lucas i'd be daydreaming about you all day, Princess! " Lily squeaked at how i look.

Jennette giggled gave Lily a thumbs up.

I sighed and gave them a small smile. I'm not in the mood to talk.                                                     

" My first love is leaving tomorrow. Just when i realized my feelings for him. "

Jennette noticed it. She gave me a concerned look. 

" Princess.. is there something wrong.. ? " Jennette asked in a worried tone.

" Great. Now i want to cry cause she asked that question. "  I thought to myself.

I was ready to open my mouth and tell them that nothings wrong but, i cant lie to them, so I told them everything.

After they heard the whole story, they looked at each other and gave me a concerned look.

I hate that look, i hate being concerned and worried about, it makes me wanna cry. 

They tried to cheer me up for the rest of the day, i honestly don't know if its working or not.

fast foward to the confession. Still on Athy's POV.

" Princess. " he whispered as he land on the cold grass. Not sure what to say as the atmosphere felt tense.

I looked up to him in surprise 

" Princess.. huh " i thought to myself.

" He's not calling me by my nickname.. as he usually does.. " 

i snatched back to reality and gave him a genuine smile. 

" Lucas, have you packed your things? " i asked, trying to keep the eye contact while holding my tears. 

" oh um, yes i have.. " he said while scratching his nape. 

" This is it. Here goes nothing. "

i took a big breath and closed my eyes,

" Lucas, i love you. I'm inlove with you.. ".

His eyes widened,

he lowered his hand from his nape, looked down at my direction and tried to open his mouth

" Stop, i know what you're going to say. "

No, i lied i dont, but i dont wanna know. From his reaction, i can feel that this wont end well. 

I looked down on my shoes, and there was a silent awkward moment between us, none of us spoke, I'm getting tired. I don't like this vibe at all.

I finally looked up to his eyes, not caring about the tears that are now slowly dripping down my cheeks.

" Farewell then! i've said it, now lets go back, shall we? " i said with a cheering tone while closing my eyes, letting the tears ive been holding out as i start to rub my eyes with my sleeves.

" Ah.. it wont stop- im sorry.. can you go first.. ? i dont wann- " before i even finished my sentence, he walked out of the garden. Leaving me all alone. In the cold of the spring night. Only being accompanied by the night air.
