Why does the leaf fall?
It falls from its home to the ground.
It falls from a place where it was accepted by all,
To a place it will be trampled, just for the sound.
Does it fall because we're wrong?
Does it fall because it wasn't accepted?
Maybe it was suicide.
Maybe it was time, or time had been too long.
Maybe it was old and withered.
Tired of being hithered.
Tired.
Maybe it wasn't his choice.
Maybe it was the wind.
Maybe it was us.
Maybe.
Why does the leaf fall?
It all depends.
Everything depends.
Everything depends on how many leaves fall.
How many give up,
How many succumb,
How many fall.
