I went home that day satisfied. I figured out where all of my classes were, and the school layout was nice. Except for one thing. I can't stop thinking about Thorne and Jack. The sound of Thorne's soft voice lingered in my head, along with Jack's teasing smirk. I lay in my bed, reminiscing on my conversations with the two alphas. NO. They are alphas, I need to stop thinking about them and get my mind back on track. I need to do something to get them off my mind. An idea hit me. Tomorrow was Saturday, I can explore the town! That should also distract me from thinking about them. I fell asleep, peacefully dreaming of rock music and good lunches.

I woke up to the berries and cream song playing from my alarm clock. I turned off the alarm and jumped out of bed. I'm going to be productive today and explore the town! I got dressed and hurried downstairs to eat breakfast. I ate a piece of toast again because I'm still an irl anime girl. Before I start exploring the town, I decide to scope out a good spot in my yard to start a garden. As I started looking, I heard a sound behind me. I whipped around. Standing behind the fence was a guy. He was bright and had an energetic aura. "Hi! You're the new neighbor, right? What's your name?" He asked cheerfully. "Oh- uh.. my name is [your name]." I answered, taken aback by the the pure positivity radiating from him. "Awesome, I love that name! My name is Apollo!" He said. His positivity was refreshing, and I already felt happier just by talking to him. "I'm the towns unofficial tour guide, so if you ever have any questions you can ask me!" He said. "Actually,  I was planning on exploring the town today, any tips or recommendations?" I asked. "Oooh fun! I'm free today, so I could show you around if you wanted!" He offered. "That would be perfect, I'm still really confused on the layout of this town." I accepted sheepishly. "Alright! Want to get ready and I'll meet you back here in about an hour?" He asked. "Yea that's perfect, see you then!" I chuckled.
I got ready and met him back outside.
"All ready to go?" He grinned. "Yep!" I smiled back. We started the tour. He would point out places and tell stories and facts about the places. It was the most fun I've had in ages. We got to an area that had some cafes and restaurants. "Want to stop by a cafe and grab lunch?" He asked. "I can pay, it's my treat!" He offered. "Sure! Thank you!" I accepted gratefully. We went in and sat down at a table. I was hyper-aware of his arm brushing against mine as we ordered our food. The fragrance of coffee was strong in the cafe, but now that I was so close to Apollo, I could smell a scent stronger then the coffee. You have to be kidding me. Apollo is.. an alpha. What is it with me and running into alphas? It's getting ridiculous at this point. I started sweating. We finished eating and started walking home. The scene was beautiful. The sun dipped down into the horizon, dying the sky around it pink. The clouds drifted lazily around the sun, as if the sun was peeking around them. We finally got home. The last rays of golden sunlight shone on Apollo's face, and reflected in his eyes like gold. He wished me goodnight and walked into his house, smiling one last time before he went inside. I walked onto the porch of my house, then I froze. It felt like I was being watched. I looked around, but due to the increasing darkness I could not see anyone. I ducked inside of my house and locked the door. As soon as I went upstairs and sat down on my bed, I realized how tired I was. As I was falling asleep, I thought of the three alphas I have met at this new town. As I closed my eyes, I whispered one last thing. "Maybe alphas aren't so bad after all.
