I woke up to tapping on my window. I groggily sat up and peered at the window. There was a silhouette of a person standing out on my balcony. I froze, but as my eyes adjusted to the dark I made out a familiar face. "Jack!! What are you doing here?!" I exclaimed. I leaped out of bed and darted over to the balcony. I opened the sliding door  "What are you doing!?" I questioned. "I saw you with that Apollo guy earlier." He said calmly. "So you were watching us?" I said warily. He narrowed his eyes. " I wanted to tell you that he's bad news, and you shouldn't be hanging around him." I crossed my arms. "Really? Then who should I hang around?" I asked angrily. He grabbed my arms and pinned me against the wall. He moved his head forward until our noses were nearly touching. He smelled like pine trees and the night. "Me." He whispered. "It's dangerous here. But I can protect you. All you have to do is be mine." He let go of me and walked towards the edge of the balcony, looking at the full moon. He looked at me and winked, and then he leaped off onto the ground, and raced into the forest. I sat on my balcony chair, and I watched the moon as I processed what just happened. I don't need protection, do I? The thought of Jack makes me feel hot, yet I still like being around Apollo, and Thorne's gentle voice is one of the most soothing things to me. I really don't know. I lay there, bathed in moonlight and I slowly drifted into my dreams.
