Poppies. (Ghost!Scott AU)

"What?!" Gem exclaimed. Shelby quickly shushed her, nodding towards the door as a reminder of the spirit in the small home next to them. This time when Gem spoke, it was quieter.

"You're asking me to try and resurrect a human person?"

"I know it's dumb but if there's any possible way you could do something like that-"

"I could... maybe. There is a kind of ritual I read about that could perhaps resurrect somebody, but it could go wrong."

"how wrong?"

"Cleo was resurrected by the same spell, she's half dead!"

oh, Cleo, Gem had told her about the zombie girl that lived on the Hermitcraft server. She joined in the earlier days, way back in season two, via resurrection by a man named JoeHills. Gem said he was not a wizard, but had the help of some.

"Well it's worth a shot, Cleo can still function normally, no?" Shelby asked

"She can, I think a zombie version of Scott would still be odd, though."

"It's better than whatever we have in there"

"For your information, ghost Scott seems lovely"

"You'd probably be the only person that thought so"

"Well have you shown him to anyone else"

"Well I was thinking about that before you got here, maybe Kathrine"

"What about Jimmy?"

Shelby sighed, her mind's debate on whether or not to tell Jimmy flared up again. It was still hard to decide, but Gem would probably know what the most logical thing to do was.

"I honestly don't know about Jimmy. Scott probably doesn't remember him and that might... yunno." Shelby trailed off

"But at the same time, he's Scott's husband and deserves to know"

"My train of thought exactly, what do you think we do?"

"I think we tell him the truth, but not the whole truth"

"What do you mean by that?"

"We say that I found a way to revive Scott, don't bring up the ghost at all."

"That makes sense. So we tell Jimmy and Kathrine, but only Kathrine knows about the Ghost?"

"Exactly"
