CHAPTER 【20】

"Namjoon!" Jungkook shouted while they rushed into the library. The shifter immediately stood up from his desk and looked at them. When he saw the boy Jungkook was carrying, he cleared his desk with one swipe of his arm, pushing everything to the furtest corner. placing his chair pillow on one end. Jungkook got the message and laid taehyung down on the desk, his head resting on the pillow.

"what happened. please tell me it's good" namjoon looked concerned.

"it is, he did it. he shifted, he actually was a raven for only a few seconds, but it's a start." Jungkook said and looked at Taehyung hopeful. He hoped the boy wouldn't stay out for too long.

"Really? That's amazing news. this is what we've waited for so long. he's finally here"

"Yes," Jungkook smiled. not because of the prophecy but because he now also got his mate, his other half.

"How long is he out?"

"I don't know, ever since he shifted actually. i felt his power. he wasn't there yet, he might take longer"

"I know. i know he wasn't ready, but i trusted you knew what you were doing, we didn't have the time to wait longer. he needed to be woken as soon as possible.'' Namjoon sighed and walked to the other side of his drawer taking out a small bottle. "Jimin, can you get me some water"

"sure" jimin walked away to get a glass of water.

"so, what's the plan now?" Namjoon looked at jungkook. Namjoon wasn't outside much; he wasn't keeping up with their work. He hadn't seen Jungkook in a very long time. No one even knew Namjoon was a shifter. He was just a human to others. The library was a perfect coverup for him. and besides he needs a big space, he was a bear afterall. he needs his own space. He doesn't want to live in the crowded city. He prefers the forest freedom.

"i'm not sure. but the main thing now is to get taehyung to their leader alive, so he can end this. which is going to be a hard task. i have seen their leader. his name is Seokjin, he came for taehyung personally. i think he is aware now that taehyung's powers have been awakened. I think he will be coming with stronger men very soon. We have to be careful"

"Yes you should, I offer you my library to stay for the time being, it will give you the protection to rest calmly during the night," namjoon said. Jungkook nodded and thanked the other for the offer. He will happily take it. they need a place to be safe and rest, especially with taehyung, they can't risk losing him now.

"here is the water"

"thank you" namjoon said and took the water dropping three drops of the strange liquid inside. "i sense him waking up any moment no-"

suddenly interrupting namjoon, taehyung took a sharp breath and jolted up with a gasp. looking around in shock.

"a-ah what" he looked confused around him, seeing the others he calmed down a little but he still looked shaken. "i-i...."

"We know, dont worry. you're fine, here drink this. it will give you some strength back." namjoon handed Taehyung the water watching the boy taking big gulps from it. He must have been thirsty.

"Thank you" taehyung said softly and put the empty glass next to him on the desk. He looked at jimin now, and next to him jungkook...but when he looked at jungkook...everything felt different. He felt such a strange warm feeling inside of him. it was like he felt before but more intense, he hadn't felt it like this before. The faint pull he felt towards Jungkook was strong now, it was almost forcing him off the desk. but he kept himself there. just staring into Jungkook's beautiful purple eyes. "Jungkook..."

"Taehyung...'' Jungkook replied almost immediately, looking at his mate who now finally felt what he felt all this time, finally Taehyung understood. finally he was something. "do...do you feel it?"

"i..i do" taehyung looked a little confused, he got off the desk and walked to the raven his hand reached out for the raven and touched his clothed chest. he smiled moving it up to jungkook's cheek feeling the skin under his palm.

Jungkook let the other do as he pleased. just staring into Taehyung's pale red eyes that were now slightly glowing, just like his own.

"Jimin, let's give them some time. come" namjoon said softly as he took Jimin with him to the back, giving the two mates their time to meet and bond. He knew how long Jungkook had waited for this, he didn't want to ruin the moment for him.

"It feels....new" taehyung said while his other hand searched for what to touch more. But Jungkook saw the hesitating hand and grabbed it with his own, holding it tightly.

"I know...but I felt it all the time. I just couldn't tell you. you wouldn't have understood then" jungkook replied his eyes never leaving taehyung's. "you're my mate"

"i feel it....it feels good" taehyung smiled. but that smile faded slowly when a new feeling rose up. and without thinking both men leaned closer letting their lips connect. jungkook's hands wrapped around the other holding him tightly against him, taehyung's hands went around jungkook's neck not wanting to let go any time soon.

and so the mates connected their bond, accepting their connection with a kiss. letting the feeling inside of them burst. with this new feeling of being complete they moved their lips together deepening the kiss slowly.

The kiss didn't last long but for them it felt like a very long and perfect time. when they parted they just stayed in their tight hug. Both hiding their faces in the other's neck. enjoying being in the hold of their other half happily. Jungkook was so happy to have found his mate before everything was gone for him. to still take the spark of this with him until it was over. He held the other tighter and pushed those thoughts away.

it will be okay.
