CHAPTER 【22】

The next morning the two woke up from the sweet smell of food. When Taehyung opened his eyes he saw Jungkook was already awake and dressed, sitting at the edge of the bed with a book in his hands. Taehyung's awakening didn't go unnoticed as the raven turned around and looked at him closing his book.

"Goodmorning"

"morning...you're up early?" Taehyung said a bit, questioning not sure what time it even was.

"its ten, of course im awake, i don't sleep that much" Jungkook said, it not that he didn't want to sleep longer, it just he couldn't sleep that long, his arm would hurt time to time waking him from his sleep each time, it wasn't pleasant so he just decides to get up early so he won't have to wake up again like that. "so, wanna practice shifting today?"

"yes!"

"alright let's go the the roof then"

"noo first food, im hungryyy"

"okay, first food then" jungkook chuckled and stood up. "i will wait downstairs for you"

The two went as said after breakfast to the roof of the huge mansion. It was quite warm weather today with the bright sun so they didn't take their jackets. they probably won't need it, they will get hot from the activities later.

"this is pretty..high" Taehyung said looking down at the ground, this was three floors high, which was pretty far for him, these ceilings were higher than normal so it looked more like a 5 high building instead of 3.

"It needs to be high, if it isn't you will fall on your face every time," Jungkook said standing next to the boy at the edge of the roof.

"so.....what now?"

"you jump and you shift. like you did before" jungkook shrugged while saying it.

"i don't know how i did that"

"you haven't even tried. don't worry you won't hit the ground, i will catch you there" jungkook said, if taehyung didn't shift at half of the fall he would quickly fly down and catch him. he had no doubt in his own speed, this wasn't that far. easy job.

"but..it's scary"

"don't whine and jump"

"i...i uh"

"Come on, we don't have forever to train you" Jungkook rolled his eyes. "now, lets go!" he then pushed the other hearing a shocked yelp from the boy when he got pushed off the roof. At the same time Jungkook shifted and flew down looking up at the falling boy who was clearly panicking. "Come on tae... '' he said to himself but the boy didn't seem to do it. Well it seems like it. Just for a short second Taehyung shifted to his raven but he did it too late and was already too close to the ground. So Jungkook stepped in and jumped forward, catching the boy in his arms. "i got you, relax"

"YOU'RE SO MEAN! ARE YOU CRAZY!??" taehyung shouted while pushing hands in Jungkook's face. He didn't want to hurt the other so he just pushed the raven's head away.

"You can't hesitate like that, hesitating means death in this world Tae. The hunters never hesitate. you shouldn't either. if you do they will hurt you"

"don't do that again!!"

"Hmm, whatever. now try again. you have to get the hang of this before the hunters find us again" jungkook said and put the boy on his feet taehyung frowned at him but then approached the tall ladder that was put against the mansion so they could climb back up. The ladder didn't look so promising as it was two ladders put together to make it longer, but it was steady enough to get him up there.
