You stopped. 'what am I doing here?' you wondered. What could have drawn you back to her lab? Well seeing you've come all this way you may as well go the whole way and open the door.

Slowly but surely you opened the door. The room has been cleaned now and you saw Reagan working busily on something. "Hey." You say nervously as you walked in. You could feel her rolling her eyes from the other side of the room. You continued "Look, I know that I didn't make that good of a first impression when we met, but seeing as we're going to work together for the next 12 weeks so I think it's best to put it all to the side and just get along." You held your breath. If you said too much she could get pissed off and after all she's the one who's in charge. "Fine" she says after a long pause. Unsure if what you heard is true you just stood still as a statue, eyes glued to her back. "What?" She asked slightly annoyed. "Sorry, I just didn't think you'd actually agree to it." You chuckled. Reagan shook her head then went back to her work. "Look, I know I might seem rude and kinda irritating but this is all for the company. I work my ass off day and night to make sure things go as planned. This is something I've been working for for my whole life, ever since I was just a little girl. I just find it annoying when things change and it's more frustrating when it's something completely out of the blue." You looked at her but this time it was a look of pity.

It had been silent for about 5 minutes now and you had just been watching Reagan work on whatever the new tech it was that she was making. Suddenly, Reagan broke the silence "Not to sound rude or anything but can you leave, I find it easier when I work by myself and your shift is almost over. You can continue looking around if you like or you could even go home." At first you where kind of surprised but you wanted to respect her boundaries so you left.

It had been a long day and you where starting to get tired, so you thought that seeing as you can leave you may as well do so. So you headed home early, but still you where looking forward for tomorrow. Another day of work but you might just have some friends.

Once you got home you got yourself a drink and a snack and replayed your favourite show. It was still just as good as the first time you watched it but still you couldn't keep work out of your head. Maybe it was the comfort of knowing you had friends or maybe it was the comfort of knowing Reagan didn't hate you. No matter how much you tried you still couldn't keep work out of your head, especially what Reagan said, how she agreed to be on civil grounds with you. Even if she didn't fully like you yet it was still nice to know you weren't about to lose your internship. You'd still try though, try to be her friend and to get her to like you. After being lost in your thoughts you decided to stop what you where watching as you hadn't been paying attention to it. Realising that it was getting close to midnight you decide to go to bed. It might be a bit earlier than you'd usually sleep but you wanted to be ready and awake for your work tomorrow. Still as you slept you thought of Reagan, but as much as this did seem strange you just disregarded it as anything weird.
