Andy stood up from the table across from me, and my heart sank to the floor. They were going to fight, and it wasn't going to end well. Someone was going to get hurt, and I couldn't stand being the reason behind it.
"Please, no!" The words came out barely above a whisper, but Andy stopped in his tracks. He turned his head to me and smiled.
"Do you want to go with this man, Miss?" he asked, giving me a chance to speak. I had never been asked what I wanted to do in so long. It was always what Colin wanted. He had never considered my wants. I looked down at the shiny tabletop and bit my lip. They were all waiting for an answer.
"No." The word came out shaky and silent, but somehow, he had heard it.
Andy turned his head to Colin and smirked. "The lady doesn't want to go with you, so back your ass up and walk back out that door." I watched in fear as Andy got right up into Colin's face, the other man standing towering a good foot over my now ex. Colin glared up at Andy as his group of friends all backed up to stand beside me, as if they were saying they would protect me while the fight went down.
A hand touched my shoulder, and I looked up to find the man named Christian touching me gently. "You should come with me. This isn't going to end well." I gasped and allowed him to lift me up by my arm and walked backwards with him as he guided me away from Andy and Colin. Suddenly Colin had thrown a punch at Andy and the fight was on. The two men attacked each other like rabid dogs, but Andy didn't seem to be breaking a sweat; unlike Colin who was dripping sweat already.
I watched in fear as the two crashed onto a tabletop and broke it. Andy quickly hovered over Colin and began swinging. His fist colliding over and over again against my ex's face was an echo in the ears of everyone around us. I lifted my hand and grasped the hand against my arm. Christian held my hand and rubbed my arm with the other as if he thought the action would help ease my queasy stomach. I turned from the fight and buried my face in his chest, but the action did nothing to stop the sounds of knuckles on flesh. After a few minutes there was a loud crunching sound, and I knew Andy had broken his nose.
I finally got the courage to look back and found Andy dusting himself off as he turned his back on Colin's unconscious body. I gasped and looked at my savior with wide shaky eyes. I scanned him and noticed the bloodied knuckles, the blood splattered on his shirt, and his tussled hair. He looked even more handsome than before.
"Do you want us to walk you home, princess?" His voice was rugged and calm, as if he hadn't lifted a finger.
"I don't have a home. All my things are at his house."
"Then you can come home with us. You can have my bed until you're up on your feet." I looked at Jinx and blinked. They had done so much for me already, could I really accept this?
"It's decided. You're coming home with us." Andy reached out and wrapped his fingers around my tiny hand and lead me around Colin's body. I followed behind him like a lost puppy. We walked out of the door and into the cool night air. The ground spun beneath me, and I stumbled. "You, ok?" I looked up at my savior and blushed.
"I'm not used to drinking anymore," I confessed in embarrassment. He nods that he understands and kneels down in front of me. Even with him kneeling I feel so small beside of him.
"Climb on, princess." I blushed darker and stared at his back as if he had another head growing from it. "Would you rather walk?" I stood there for a moment before I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, pressing my upper body against his back, and jumped when his hands found their way under my dress, against my thighs. He chuckled. "Just relax and enjoy the ride, princess."
"Why are you guys being so nice to me?" The words came out before I could stop them. I held my breath as I waited for one of them to answer.
"Should we not be nice to you? Do you not deserve someone on your side for once?" I looked over to Lonny and smiled softly. They were just being decent people helping someone down on their luck.
"Thank you."

We walked (I rode) for a long time before we turned into the driveway of a two-story home. It was beautiful, with white siding, a freshly cut lawn, a walkway leading to a garage and splitting off to the front door.
"I'm gonna put you down now. Try not to fall."
"R-right." I stuttered, feeling the heat in my face rise. Andy stooped down and I stood on the ground, keeping my hands on his shoulders until the world stopped spinning around me.
"You good?" He stood up and looked back at me with a smile and I nodded. What had I done in life to deserve such kind treatment? (Endure all of Collin's abuse) Andy opened the front door and reached back, slipping his hand into mine, leading me inside. "Let's get you out of that dress and into something comfortable." I followed him up a few stairs and onto the second floor, only tripping once (a personal best).
As we walked into a bedroom at the end of the hall, I looked at all the Phantom of the Opera posters and band pictures around the room. I had personally never seen the movie, but I knew a few of the bands, such as KISS and Alkaline Trio. Andy walked over to the bed and helped me to sit down onto the mattress.
The bed was decorated in blacks and blues, a color to rival his eyes.
I watched as he walked over to a dresser and opened a few drawers, pulling out a t-shirt and some shorts. I blushed. He was letting me wear his clothing. "Thank you for taking such good care of me, even though we've just met." I could feel the tears swelling up in my eyes and brushed them away frantically. I didn't want to cry anymore tonight; my eyes were sore from the bruises and rubbing them.
"Don't mention it." Andy walked over to the bed and placed the clothe down. "Everyone deserves kindness every once in a while." He smiled. "Now, how do I help you out of this dress?" I accepted his outstretched hand and stood up, carefully turning around to show him the back. I blushed because I was embarrassed to be getting undressed in front of this, ultimately, stranger.
"All I need is the back to be unlaced." Andy nodded and within a few moments, the dress loosened around my body and fell to the floor. I stood in front of him in all white (a garter belt, thigh highs, thong, and lacey bra). Andy blushed and turned around, as if he didn't want to see me. Then I remembered all the bruises on my body and thought I might look a right shock to him. "It's nothing, really. Most of them are healed."
"No woman should have hands laid on her like you have, Miss Jennifer. I feel anger for you." I gasped and turned around to face his back as tears burned down my hot cheeks. I took a step forward, reached out, and touch his closed fist.
"I feel nothing for myself. It took me three years of his abuse to finally get the courage to leave him. And if not for you and your friends, I might have been forced to go back to him. So truly. Thank you."
Andy nodded his head but didn't pull from me or turn to look at me again. " Do you need help getting dressed, princess?" His voice was soft and gentle as he spoke to me. I shook my head.
"If I sit down, I'll be ok. Thank you, Andy." He nodded as I let my hand fall from his and then left the room without another word. I stepped out of my dress and began to pull off my thigh highs and garter belt. I then looked across the room to find a long mirror hanging on the wall and walked over to it. I stared at my reflection and let my eyes roll over my body. I wasn't thin but I wasn't very big either. Five-foot eleven inches tall and weight two hundred pounds, so for Any to have carried me such a distance on his back meant that he packed some nice muscle under that leather jacket of his.
The bruises littered my body, legs, and arms, but thanks to the makeup you couldn't see any of them on my arms and around my collarbone or my face. Tomorrow I would shower, but tonight I was too drunk too.
