I love him: part 2

So once you told your friends, they were all excited for you!! They couldn't wait for him to ask you out! But, you figured you'd have to tell your mom about what he told you cause you've never dated anyone before.
So, you go to Starbucks with your mom, and you told her what he told you. How you feel about him. "So your asking me if you could date him?" She asked you.
"Well yeah. I mean I know you wouldn't appreciate not knowing and I wouldn't want to feel guilty about dating him behind your back."
Your mom started to get all ready eyed and she thanked you that you asked her before hand. But, she said no. You were absolutely gutted. She seemed really excited for you, but gave you that response? Not cool mom.
"You guys could still be friends and do what couples do. Just not labeled as a couple."
Well at least she gave me that much. So, you guys continue with your day and go out to dinner with your older sister and father that night.
The next day, you go to the mall with your sister. You're super anxious to tell her cause you don't know how she'll react. But you know you have to tell her.
You told her everything that he told you and what you told him and what your mom told you. She was shocked. "She basically told you that it's okay. Just without a label." She was happy for you but couldn't believe that you got a "boyfriend" before her.
She was really excited and she kept talking about it with you the whole day.
