You were upset that you had to tell him that your parents don't think you should date at this age cause your mom said yes! But now she's saying no? That's not how it works!!! You really had no idea how you should feel.
You started to cry as you texted him saying that your parents thought you were to young to date. What if he doesn't want to wait for you? What if he will find a girl in the next week? He's so good he'll probably be taken.
The second you sent the text, you felt a little bit of relief cause you did what your parents wanted you to do which was the right thing. But you still regretted doing it.
He texts back in an instant saying that he totally understands. He said that whenever you're ready, he'll be there.
You were so happy he gave you that response. You were happy that he respected your parents decision. But, you had no idea when your parents would let you date. Probably in late year of high school. You guys aren't even going to the same high school. If you make him wait long enough, he'll probably just find another girl and forget about you. But then on the other hand, if he really loves you, he'll wait. But then on the other hand, if you don't date him and if he finds another girl but you come across each other's paths again later in life, then you were really meant to be. None of these will probably happen. You're not that lucky.
