Under normal circumstances, it feels satisfying
Under others, it's unsatisfying
Causing pain, a pain that reverberates
A pain that unexplainably reiterates
You know the feeling but the thought -
You know what to say but how to say it-
When does it stop haunting you
When do I stop hunting it rather
From time to time it disappears
After a little while, it all comes rolling back
It hurts but silence says it all
It kills but who will hear me
It destroys but the question remains who cares
All they want are things that favor them
I mean everyone does
Blunt things, you are an antagonist in your own story
There is hope;
Hope that they don't know
Hope I long reach for
Hope that comes with a trial
Trail without Hope, you are gone
Speaking of things gone: emotions
Emotions unyielding loud
Laughter, cries, that gaze- emotions
I don't taste it
I don't taste it
"Why all these happy faces?" I ask
Why are all these who 'cruise'
What am I doing wrong?
Only for me to find out everything
At this point, I might just give up
But wait NO-
There is HØPE.
