Papatapos na kaming kumain ng tumunog ang cellphone ko. Tinignan ko kung sino ang nag message.

"Good morning po Ms. Nicole, pinapasabi po ni Sir na kung pwede daw po kayong maka punta mamaya sa malapit na bar dito sa building natin,kung saan gaganapin ang celebration ng birthday ni Sir. By the way ano pala ang bar? Yung sabon ba yan?" basa ko sa text ni Mae ang assistant kong kinulang sa gamot o nasobrahan.

Tinignan ko si Jerime na naka tingin pala sakin, habang binibiyan nya ako ng tinignan na nag tatanong. Mag sasalita sana ako ng biglang tumunog amg cellphone nya, kaya kinuha nya ito saka may kinalikot.

Maya't maya pa ay natapos na sya saka sya humarap sakin.

"My dad text me,kung pwede daw tayong pumunta mamaya sa malapit na bar dun sa building para sa celebration ng birthday nya" sabi nya habang naka kunot ang noo.

"Eh bakit ganyan ang muka mo?" Tanong ko sakanya.

"Eh kasi.... naka.... limutan kong birthday nya ngayon" saad nya sabay kamot sa batok nya.

"What the? Anong klaseng anak ka ha?!"pabiro kong sabi ki Jerime.

"Ito naman, hoy for your information ngayon ko lng nakalimutan birthday nya ok" he said while he's not looking directly into my eyes.

"Hayst,lets go and buy some gift to your father you idiot" I stand up and ready to go out while he follow me, and find some gift that might Sir Vandorf like.

--A few moments later--

"You got a gift for your father?"i ask him while I raise my eyebrow up.

"Hey don't give that look, it is just my first time that I forgot about it ok, and how many times do I have to tell you?"he curiously ask me.

"Nothing its just that I can't believe you forgot about it" I turn around and start walking to my car. When I reach up where's my car parked, I get inside without looking at my back. I was about to start my car when someone knock on my cars' window. I look up and I see Jerime, scratching the back of his neck.

"Can I come with you?" He shyly ask. I give him a look like dude are you serious?

"My car is not in a good condition, pero ayos naman sya kanina bago tayo pumasok ng mall ewan ko lng bakit may sira na ngayon" paliwanag ni Jerime sakin, kaya nag taka naman ako sa sinabi nya.

May sumusunod ba samin o saki simula palang? O umipisa nang pumunta kamo dito sa mall?

I keep asking my self ,because I make my guard down, kampante kasi ako na walang mang yayari dahil wala namang sumunod sakin noong papunta ako sa dating place namin ni Jerime na sinet up pa ni Mama.

Tinignan ko ulit si Jerime na kanina pa pala ako tinatawag sa pangalan ko, I give him a smile then I let him inside my car. I make him sit with me, just in case something happen.

Habang nag mamaneho ako radam kong tahimik sa tabi ko si Jerime which is new to me, dahil unang pag kikita namin nitong kupal na toh, halos pasabugin ko ang muka nya dahil sa mapag asar, at medyo ------ (you can guess what it is).

"Hey, why are you so quiet, so sudden?" I ask him without look at his direction.

"Nothing its just I can't believe you let my ride in your car and you didn't give me a teasing glare" he said while smiling like an idiot.

But his smile is suits to him so well, not gonna lie he's handsome when he's smile and act like a child sometimes.

But I don't like him in a romantic way.

"So you want me to leave you here in the middle of the way?" I said with a sarcastic tone.

"Wait its not what I mean" and he start to panick, tulad ng bata na ayaw maiwan sa school.

"Hahaha I was just joking man, don't take I seriously, by the way we are going to my house. Dun ka nalang mag palit ng damit mo kung meron" I said to him.

"Ok,wala namang problema sakin" he replied, while look outside of the car.

I still high up my guard,para ready na sa kung ano man ang mangyari. I observe my surroundings, while I'm driving if there's any suspicious movement around us.

Until we reach to our destination, which is my house.

"So dito ka naka tira?" He ask me obviously ( -_- )

"Alangan naman sa kapitbahay toh" I roll my eyes because of his stupidity.

"Hey I was just joking, seryuso mo kasi sa buhay eh" he smile after he said those words.

"No, I'm not, I'm just observing our surroundings thats all" I said habang yung last line is mahina na ang bosses ko. Which means na ako lng ang makaka rinig, and he give me a questioning look.

"Did you say something?"

"Hmm nothing, baka may naririnig ka na na na di ko na ririnig" I give him a scared look, sempre nag kunwari lng ako.

"Psss, ghost are not real" he said, he can fool anyone but not me

"Really! Then why is there a ghost behind you?" I act like scared and surprise, because I want to see his reaction. At mukang epekto na man,because it is written on his face. For short the reaction on his face is priceless.

"Hey, I know you're joking right?" He reassure that I was just joking, butI was enjoying he reaction so I continue.

"No, j-just l-look a-at your back" saad ko habang nag kukunwaring na nginginig. Pfttt I want to capture this scene.

Lumunok muna si Jerime bago unti unting tumingin sa likod, so I took a chance to change my appearance. Kinuha ko ang pulbo ko sa kung saan ko man na kuha, tapos nilagyan ang muka ko then inilagay ko ang buhok ko sa unahan ng muka ko para mag muka akong white lady.

When Jerime finally facing his back where did I pointed the ghost, he seems relief when he saw no one, at binalik nya ang itsura nya kanina na akala mo kasama sa body builder contest hayst.

"Pfttttt, I knew it you're just jo--" he didn't continue when he saw me. Nanlaki ang mga mata nya at maya maya sumigaw na akala mo babae, ang tinis. Kaya di ko na pigilan ang sarili ko na matawa sa sigaw nya at reaction nya. He's like a tough bear but inside his just a teddy bear.

"Hahahhahahaha"I just continue to laugh at him, then he send me a d**dly glare. And sending me a look that 'Will you shut up' but I don't care so I continue hanggang sa mapagod ako.
