💜 {Dave POV} 💜
I drove into the driveway of the little house. I remember the conversation I had earlier.
'Dave, we're so sorry about what happened. I know you are mourning but feel free to stop by at any time.'
It had been a week since the...... incident....
I turned the car off and took the keys out of the ignition. I opened the car door and stepped out, shutting the door once I stood on the concrete driveway. I locked the car then walked to the front door. I put the key into the lock, and turned it until I heard a quiet 'click'. I took the key out of the lock and opened the door.
"Sportsy I'm ho-"
Right....
I put my keys on the kitchen table, then proceeded to sit on the couch. I was so tired from work and everybody visiting and asking how I was. I laid my head back against a couch pillow.
'A couple minutes of sleep can't hurt, right...?'
I started to doze off.
🧡 {Jack POV} 🧡
I was floating around, as ghosts do, and I felt like I needed to remember something... Dave! Let's go see how he's doing!

I arrived at my house, and saw Dave's car in the driveway.
'He's here! Sweet!'
I headed inside, not using the door considering I'm a ghost and can just phase through things. I saw Dave on the couch, sleeping peacefully.
'Awww.. I wonder how long he's been sleeping for...'
I sat next to Dave, wishing he could see me. He started to groan, and then stretched his arms. He yawned loudly, then turned and looked at me.
🏳️🌈 {Narrator POV} 🏳️🌈"Hey Sportsy..." Dave didn't realize who he was sitting next to. Jack was in shock as to what Dave had said. He could see him??
"Wait... SPORTSY?!?!" Dave stood up and looked at the translucent man with tears in his eyes.
"You can see me?!?" Jack arose and stood next to Dave, just as shocked as he was.
"Y-Yeah!" Tears started to fall out of Dave's eyes.
"Davey don't cry, it wasn't your fault. It was an accident."
(Basically, in this au how he died was that he had the suit on and Dave tripped while holding a water bottle and Jack caught him, but the water spilt on the suit. Springlocks blah blah blah, you get it.)
Dave walked up to the shorter male. He smiled and went to give him a hug and fell through him and onto the floor.
"I'm still a ghost, Dave." Jack looked at him with a smug face and laughed at him.
"......ow.."
