Chapter 2

The few that were already at the lakeside house helped set up things like chairs and decorations in the backyard. All of the living Avengers came, Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, Bruce/Hulk Banner, Peter Parker and his aunt May, Rhodey, Wanda Maximoff, Clint Barton, Dr. Steven Strange, T'challa, Shuri, Nick Fury, Carol Danvers, and others. Later the Guardians arrived, Starlord, Gamora, Nebula, Drax, Rocket, Thor, and Groot. There were a few other people like Happy, and Harley Keener. (Harley is the teenage kid standing near the house during the funeral scene, he was the kid from Tennessee in Iron Man 3) As a tribute to Natasha and Vision, they had a picture of both of them put next to Tony's. The pamphlet had messages for all of them. Natasha and Vision deserved a memorial, they wouldn't have won without their sacrifices.

They were nearing the end of the funeral. Pepper and Morgan brought a bunch of flowers with the original arc reactor with the words "Tony Stark Has A Heart" engraved on the rim. Morgan's hand gripped Pepper's tightly as they walked down the small set of stairs onto the back lawn. They walked to the small wooden dock and Pepper crouched down to Morgan's level and placed the bouquet onto the calm waters. She stood to watch it float away, everybody watched as grief hit them, along with acceptance. It was hard for some, few would say impossible.

As the guests left Happy sat down with Morgan. A warm smile covered the opposite emotions he felt on the inside. Morgan didn't know how to feel, she didn't quite understand what was going on or even how she felt about it.

"I'm hungry" the little girl complained. She looked up wondering what he would say to her.

"What do you want?" he replied.

"A cheeseburger" she said shyly. A smile, a true one came to Happy's chubby face.

"You know, your dad liked cheeseburgers."

"Really?"

"Mhm. I'll get you your cheeseburger." This was a promise he could keep.
