Love is an intense feeling of deep affection or a great interest and pleasure in something. Despite how common and easy to research love may be, only a few people can truly express it. Sometimes, it's hard to know how to feel or react, even when you give your all and commit everything you have. It can seem like no matter how hard you try, it's never enough.
We love in the hope that it will last forever, but often, only the pain seems to last. Memories of happy times can become repetitive and seem like another lesson learned.
Finding someone you love is no guarantee that they will love you back or stay with you. Love is risky, and therefore, it can be scary. But when you take that risk, you may experience the joy of falling in love, with butterflies in your stomach and a sense of happiness. However, just as quickly, the joy can turn to heartbreak, and you may feel lost, disoriented, and torn up inside.
Love is an eventful, dangerous, and blind thing that we all have grown to know today. If I were the president, I would choose loyalty over love. Until then, I will continue to search for the true meaning of this overrated word we all call LOVE.
