it was a normal day, well, to y/n it definetly was.

she hummed her favorite song while walking down the road, prepared to find her way towards one of the newly opened hospitals in the area so she could submit a public presentation towards some trainees that were now working there.

it wasn't like she wanted to do it, but instead it was requested to her by the director of the hospital. well who was she to decline? obviously she wanted to contribute, and she thought of it as a opportunity to get a good word in with the doctors, as she would supposedly be doing collaborations with them in the future.

ting!! a sound rung from her phone.

she ignored it.

ting!! she ignored it again.

ting!! ting!!

what did they want? she was busy right now, so she decided to just turn her phone onto silent mode, thinking it would do the trick and that the messenger would likely give up sort awhile.

bzzt!! bzzt!! the fuck did they want? she turned on her phone, just to see her messages spammed by her 'best friend', as self proclaimed of him.

she turned off her phone after, turning on the option to mute all notifications, after all, she has just arrived in front of the hospital doors. she sighed, slinging her small
leather suitcase-bag over her shoulder, being extremely careful so that no documents inside would crumple up.

"hey! you're doctor l/n, right? we've been expecting you." the female receptionist waved at her as she smiled back warmly, and nodded her head.

"it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," she smiles.

"just follow me, the meeting's about to start." she gestured at the doctor to follow her, which she did, thanking the receptionist in the process.

it was a good start.

"no, you listen here. we can't perform a appleby operation, it's too risky and holds high dangers for the patient to go into even worser issues than cardiac arrest during the operation and possibly even risking death." he had slammed his hands down on the table, turning down her idea.

there were currently roughly 30 doctors seated around a large oval table, a male at the front pointing to a presentation on the screen showing the problem of the growing bacterial tissues inside of the patient's liver areas.
