"Another day is here." Danny thought as he shut off his alarm and got up from bed. Danny looked at the clock, it was five thirty in the morning. Danny grabbed his towel and headed to the bathroom. He got himself a twenty-minute shower, making sure he scrubbed himself clean then went back to his room and rummaged through his clothes to find something good for work. He decided on normal dark blue Khakis and a black button up short sleeve shirt with a sky-blue long sleeve under shirt.

"It's six am. Time for him to get up." Danny thought to himself as he looked at the clock. "I still remember the first time he came here and saw everything, the look on his face."

    Flashback

"So, this is where I'll be living from now on?" the nine-year-old boy named Austin asked, his face slightly glowing with secret excitement.

"Yeah," Danny said, as he pulled into the hilled driveway of his house. The house was a simple two floor building with multiple rooms and a small garage that connected into it. Only thing that annoyed Danny about it was the size of the windows in each room. They took up almost half to a whole quarter of the wall it was on. "So would you like to go in and see your room?"

"Um, yea... d-dad," Austin said awkwardly.

"You know you don't have to force it. Call me Danny, you don't need to call me dad if you don't want to or feel like you can." Danny said as they got out of the car and grabbed his bags in the back seat.

Austin, who was about four foot three, moved his long, light brown hair out of his face. Danny watched his light green eyes grow as he walked into the house and you can obviously see that he liked his new home.

"So, do you like the place so far?" Danny asked.

"Yes, yes I do a lot! There's a pool table over there, and a fireplace there! That's a big doorway! Is this some kind of summer house?" Austin started as he looked around the one room.

"Yeah, something like that. I'm always for warm things; it's more comforting, if you know what I mean." Danny said, only to get a slight nod from Austin. Austin may only be nine, but he did enjoy that Danny understood what he did and didn't understand, that he treated him more like an adult at times than as a kid.

"Oh, so is this my room?" Austin asked, running to the room across from the door leading into the garage.

"No, your room is actually above this one. You and I have the rooms upstairs, this is the guest room that I still have to get together, but for now it's a storage room." Danny said.
