●Narrator's POV●

Years earlier...

The night was very peaceful and the crickets were cricketing. Del and the twins were all ready to sleep. Well, except for Philippines, who was curious about something.

"Papa?" Phia called.

"Yes, phia?" KKK asked.

"Why do you wear that necklace?" Phia asked.

"Why do you wanna know?" KKK asked.

"I just wanna know, its very pretty though." Phia answered.

"Hmm, well, I wear this necklace because its very special to me." KKK said and Phia tilt her heard as a sign of curiosity, which then, causes her father to chuckle.

"Well my dear, see this crystal right here?" KKK pointed to his necklace, while Phia, stared at it.

"These crystals where handed for generations to generations from our family. One of our ancestors found these crystals not knowing the power it may have. Our ancestor found a lot of these but where then lost or probably broken, in a cave that no longer existed now. Two were handed to me, and I turned it into a necklaces and gave the other to your mother." KKK explained.

"What powers does it have, papa?" Phia asked.

"Well it depends, but its powers only activate whenever your in certain danger, death, and when needed or maybe more. Well, alteast that's what your grandmother told me." KKK answered.

"Oohh..." Phia understood and yawned.

KKK tucked Phia in letting her sleep. He kissed her forehead and went out of the room.

"Del! Take your sisters to the mountains! Hurry!" Perla commanded.

"But ma-" Del refused to leave his mother.

"I'll be okay dear. Promise you'll take care of them?" Perla caressed Del's cheek.

Their house were on fire, because of the colonizers. They killed many people. Del carried her siblings out of the burning house, to the mountains.

"Mama!!" Phia yelled before Perla was beheaded with her own two eyes giving them one last smile.

"Phia! Phia! Wake up." Martiala said shacking Phia's body so she could wake up.

Phia woke up and gasped.

"Wha- anyare -?!" Phia panicked.

"You were having another nightmare." Martiala said.

"Oh..." Phia said.

"Anyways we're near America's base. Did you really have to sleep in the helicopter? Like how do you even do that?" Martiala asked.

"That's cuz you don't know how much anxiety I've been through." Phia debated.

"Well I've been trying to find you for 3 weeks straight in Japan." Martiala debated.

"Yea... I wonder how America will react though?" Phia wondered.

"Yea, cuz apparently I sneaked out of the mansion to get to you." Martiala confessed.

"You wha-" Phia was then cut off when the pilot informed them that they've arrived and about to land.

The helicopter landed and the twins went out. America was waiting for them there.

"Girls..." America called as of he was gonna ground them. Which he might.

"Uhm... we uhh..." Phia tried to explain.

"I know what happened. Even what you, Martiala, did in Japan to save your twin." America said.

"For now you two should take a rest." America commanded.

The twins were showed to their rooms. They both slept since they were really tired.

"Aaahh... sweet bed!" Phia sighed plopping to her pillow.

Martiala sat to a chair by a table.

"Your not sleeping?" Phia asked.

"I'm not sleepy yet." Martiala answered. Phia just shrugged it off and slept.

A few moments later, Martiala also fell asleep. Apparently she's just sitting on the chair.

Although they didn't know, America quietly checked on them. A doctor quietly came in and silently checked their health and physical health.

"Both of them had injuries but it isn't the biggest deal. However, Martiala does have a broken arm. It'll take a few months or so until its healed." The doctor said.

"Alright, thanks doc." America thanked.

"No problem." The doctor said wrapping Martiala's arms with bandage.

America left the room and went somewhere. He came to a forest, bringing two men who were armed with weapons.

Earlier at that time or like a few days ago, Del sent a letter to America, warning him off and give independence to the country.

"I'm here. Show yourself." America called.

"Put your weapons down, first." Del said and without hesitation, America signalled his men to drop all the weapons.

"There! Now show yourself. " America commanded.

Del came out of the shadows and showed himself.

"What did you want me to come here for?" America asked. It was obvious that Del wants his sisters back and their independence, but he wanted to make sure.

"Isn't it obvious? I want my sisters and their independence." Del answered.

"If I do that, what'll I I get in return?" America asked. He doesn't want to agree with this.

"I'll stop terrorising your base and stop killing your employees and by mean employees your assistants." Del answered. America's eyes widened.

"So your the one who killed Kim and Jayna?" America asked.

"Uhuh." Del answered.

America hesitated for a moment. He did grow close to the twins though. He knows that if he agrees he may never see them again.

"Don't worry America. I'll allow them to see you once in a while and as they please." Del said.

America thought through.
'They did manage to escape in no time, and I have already trained them enough how to run a country. C'mon America think this through. They can handle their country, they're old enough.' America thought to himself. He sighed for a minute.

"Alright, I'll agree to do so. As long as I get to see them when I want." America agreed.

Del smiled.

"You can now be at peace..." Del said before walking away through the shadows.
