Luke's POV
My eyes hurt so much from keeping then open for so long. I let my eyes scan over the map one more time before letting y head fall and hit the desk.
I could feel sleep coming over me.
"Luke!!" Liam and Niall yells running in.
"What?!" I yell standing up.
"It's a letter... Fr-from Marcus.." Liam pants slightly.
I speed over to him, taking the letter out of their hands.
I rip it open.
'Dear guys.
I'm sorry to tell you this, and it pains me to say. But Darcy is... Dead.... She caught a fever and the doctor was to late. I'm so sorry.' -Marcus
I fall to the ground tears falling down my face.
"Sh-she's dead!" I sob. Liam takes the note from the floor. His eyes scan over the paper, Niall reading it from behind him.
"Luke... I'm so sorry.." Liam says quietly.
"It's all my fault! I waited to long!" I sob.
"No! No we waited to long.." Niall says dropping to his knees.
"Sh-she's gone!" I sob. I could literally feel my non-beating heart break.
A guard runs in. "Sir... Another letter." He says panting heavily.
"Give it to me." I say lowly.
He hands it to me before walking back.
I open it slowly. I let my eyes run over it.
I gasp. "What!" I say dropping the letter.

Aubrey's POV
I sit in the corner of the room rocking back and forth, tears running down my face.
Marcus was sitting on my bed, just staring at her.
"H-how." I sob out.
"I don't know... I wonder if she will turn??" Marcus says.
"Turn?? Like into a vampire?" I ask. Marcus nods.
"How would that work?" I ask
"I don't know... You have to have vampire blood in your system for it to happen..." Marcus says closing his eyes.
His eyes shoot open.
"What?" I ask staring at him.
"When you were with Luke... Did she almost die??" Marcus asks standing up..
I go through my thoughts.
"Uh yeah.. Why?" I ask. Marcus starts pacing.
"What happened?!" Marcus yelled turning to look at me.
"When you were at the castle... When she knew kicked you in the face... you bit her, causing her body to react..." I say. Marcus sighs.
"Luke didn't tell you why that happened did he?" Marcus says running his hand through his hair.
"Uh no?" I say confused. I stand up and walk over to him.
"Why?" I ask standing in front of him.
"Darcy is half vampire..." Marcus says.
"What?! That's insane!" I laugh.
"There's no way!"
"There's signal signs... Does as eat a lot of meat??" Marcus asks.
"Yeah.. Steak..." I say.
"How does she like it cooked??" He asks pointing his finger at me.
"Rare..." I say..
"Okay... What's her favorite color?"
"Green and red." I say.
"Either her father is a vampire or her mother." Marcus says walking over to the bed.
Suddenly a loud growl echoed through the room. I froze in my spot, as well as Marcus.
I looked over Marcus's shoulder to see Darcy's eyes wide open, her mouth in a hiss. She had pearly white fangs, her blue eyes were now bright red.
"What did you do to me!"
