The road was empty, so he could easily beat you up... not that the citizens of Derry would've helped you anyways.

Henry didn't say anything, he just looked at you. Your eyes wouldn't stand still, you looked away from him, to the trees, to the street signs, to the street, to him again, to the sky, to the steering wheel, to- "I'm sorry."

What?

You stared at him in disbelief. Did he just apologize because you felt bad?

"What?"
"You heard me.", he said, looking away from you, only to stare at you again a second later.

You didn't expect that... Since when did he simply apologize after he'd done something stupid.

Of course, you forgave him.

He never apologized, so he probably was serious right now. Hopefully.

"You gonna get out or not?", he questioned, looking behind you. You raised your eyebrows.

He didn't look like he was joking and his stare was so stern and intense. You suddenly thought he was more mad at the fact that you weren't out of his car yet than the fact that you had even asked.

"I didn't think you would apologize and I didn't want to stay in this mood for the rest of the day.", you told him.

"We can drive to your house. If you still want to."

He suddenly leaned over to you, making you jerk away. For not even a second, he held in, but then leaned towards your side even further until he reached your door and opened it.

You looked at him, then the door, then him again. You were so confused.

Henry nodded down the street, towards a house and you realized you had parked because you were at his home already.

God, you were fucking stupid!

And Henry loved it. But he wouldn't admit that.

As soon as you realized it, your confused and saddened expression formed into a relaxed one.

He wasn't mad at you at all and you weren't that mad at him anymore either. You jumped out of the car and waited for him to get out too.

"You really thought, I'd abdomen you on some random street?", he smiled, laying his arm down on your shoulders as he walked you to his house.

You just let him do.

You let him do like you always did and you knew it. You knew, that you would let him do whatever he wanted if he pleased.

That's something you had tried to ignore the whole time, but it was clear to him. And clear to you as well.

Deep down you were aware of the fact, that you couldn't resist him. And, although your tried so badly to blame the fear of him for your actions, you were also aware of the fact, that there was something else.

The last four weeks, you tried to not catch any feelings... to not let him get to you because he would never return your feelings and only use you.

But you had failed.

You knew that they weren't as strong as love. Maybe you were feeling empathy, maybe you had a little crush, but nothing more.

Still trying to fight it, you shoved his arm off of your shoulders and sped up your tempo.

Fuck this, fuck him and fuck you! Why were you stupid enough to let this happen?!

He did the same, walking up to you with long strides, before he was next to you once again. His gaze flickered down to you before he opened the door.
