The Golden Palace Hotel was one of the most beautiful hotels in Miami, Florida! It was run by three older ladies, a man, and a chef. I know, it may not seem like a lot, but boy could they run a Hotel. But I'm getting ahead of myself, first let's introduce you to the staff!!
First is Blanche, a sexy, wild girl, in the prime of her life, or so she says. She's from the South, and has a bit of a habit of exaggerating. She is the one who made most of the big choices for the hotel, despite the other two ladies owning it too.
Next up is Rose, a sweet, kind, and not all that bright lady. Rose is the sweetest person you'll ever meet, but she has a very big competitive side, which can be frightening at times. She loves telling crazy stories about her hometown, ST. Olaf, despite the fact that everyone hates her stories.
Third in line is Sophia, the oldest of the bunch. She has been through a LOT in her life, whether it be in America, or her hometown, Sicily!! Sophia could give advice, tell stories, and get all of the loose change out from the couch cushions. She has cooking skills out of this world. Sophia has a tendency to speak her mind, and you'll know what she thinks of you, whether you asked or not.
Then there's the Manager of the Hotel; Roland Wilson. He's a very down to business man, whether he's telling Blanche off for not thinking about the Hotel before her sex life, or when he's giving people time off, even though he gets none himself. He's a big workaholic, and, although Blanche has tried to give him a vacation many, many times, he still works more than his share at the Hotel.
Last up is Chuy Castillos, the hotels chef! He tends to not think things through all the way, and isn't great at keeping a secret. He's one of the best chefs in Miami, or so he says, and he works very hard, trying to always think of The Golden Palace first.
The Golden Palace was located by the beach, and was almost always bustling with life, whether it be Blanches brother, Tad, or Rose's granddaughter, Charlie, or just strangers checking in, there was never a boring day, at The Golden Palace.
