House Warming Barbecue Part 1

Jackies Pov

Two weeks have passed since I had moved into my new house in Los Angeles that was left to me by an uncle who passed away. Since I have been here I have not exactly been one to make friends so I decided to have a house warming barbecue with my girlfriends melissa, Tirana, sarah and Amy. I was so excited that I was wide awake even before my alarm had gone off. After a nice long shower and a choice of denim shorts and red tank top along with flip flops, since it was very hot outside it was perfect weather.

After calling Melissa I had waited for her to show up so that we could all get to cleaning and setting up the fire pit in the backyard. I had Melissa tell Josh to invite all his friends to the barbecue and for him to be ready to man the grill. Melissa showed up just as Amy, sarah and Tiana walked out of their rooms and they headed out to clean up the yard and the house. Melissa and I took the car and went to the grocery store to get the food.after shopping for food we stopped into the local pool store and gathered up everything we would need for the pool such as games, and floats and some much needed life vests for the younger kids. The more I bought the more excited I had gotten which was great because I knew today was going to be a good day.

When we arrived back home Josh was out back setting up the grill, I noticed that he seemed to be in his element which was always a good thing. Melissa helped me carry the bags inside from the car while the others took the bags of pool stuff out to the table by the pool and opened everything blowing them up. While they were outside melissa and I started making the food and getting everything set up. Melissa had told me that Josh had come with the drinks and that he had them set up already along. I was thinking about music and smiled when I heard it being played out back. The girls and I took the time to head inside and change in to their bathing suits before putting their clothes right on top and heading back downstairs.

Voices are what I heard while standing in the kitchen getting the burgers and hot dogs ready to take out to Josh for the grill. I took a deep breath and had my sun glasses over my face as I made my way over to the grill and saw Josh talking to a guy while noticing that a woman and man were playing by the kids who were running around the yard.i also spotted Amy, Sarah , melissa and Tianjin by the pool talking and chatting while drinking and having a good time. More and more people started coming by and getting in the pool.

Me(Jackie): Hey Josh here are the burgers and the hot dogs for the grill. I will bring out the chicken and kabobs next along with the corn on the cob.

Josh: Okay great thanks jack.

I watched as Josh took the food out of my hands and placed it on the grill smiling. I was about to turn away when I heard the voice of the guy who was standing next to Josh. I sighed and turned to where the voice came from and forced a smile on my face.

Jensen: Hey it's you

Me(Jackie): Yup it's me

Josh: Wait you two have met?

Me(Jackie): Not formally he kind of stuck his daughter in my lap at the supernatural convention.

Josh: No shit really

Josh broke out in to a fit of laughter at that moment and the look on jensens face made me hold in my laughter. Josh stopped laughing the moment he realized something that he should have before.

Josh: Oh shit wait JACKIE was the woman you were talking about the other night. No way this is crazy.

Jensen: So it seems wow this is a small world.

Me(Jackie): Yes a very small world. Now if you will excuse me I have food I need to get out and on the grill so have a nice day.

I took my leave then and walked away leaving a very stunned Jensen with his mouth open behind me. Josh started laughing which I could hear all the way back to the kitchen. I laughed when I heard jensen tell Josh to shut up and it wasn't funny.

Jensens Pov

I was in the middle of putting JJ down for a nap when i got a text from Josh. When i read it i smirked and smiled since it said friends house warming barbecue and pool party at this address. I laid JJ down in bed and sang her song to her before walkign quietly out of the room turning out the light. While JJ slept I gathered clothes and food and diapers and bathing suits and what not packing them into bags and putting them out into the car. I walked back inside and sat down on the couch waiting for JJ to wake up so that we could head to the party.

Two hours later i parked out front of this big house and got JJ out of her seat placing her on the ground while I grabbed the bags from the trunk. I glanced up when i heard two little boys voices and smiled when i saw my nephews along with Jared and Gen. Gen and i hugged and kissed cheeks and then Jared grabbed a bag and carried it up to the house. We headed around the back where Josh told us to and i saw him kissing a woman. we walked over to him and were introduced to his fiance Melissa and her friends Tiana, Amy and Sarah.

I was there no more then twenty minutes when i heard another female voice heading towards us and talked to josh. It was then that i realized who she was and i smiled knowing that I had to talk to her. even for a little bit. Yet when she dismissed me i smirked and smacked Josh in the shoulder when he started laughing. I shook my head and followed her in to the house he needed to explain a few things to her.

Jensen: Thank you for watching my daughter at the convention, i know you didnt have to but I am happy you did. I am also sorry that it was because of me that you missed the panel and I feel horrible.

Me(Jackie): Your welcome and I am glad that I was there to help out. Is everything Okay now? You just seemed to be in such a hurry the other night and you also seemed bothered by something.

Jensen: Yes well it had to do with my ex-wife and my daughter JJ.

Me(Jackie): Oh okay I am glad you have it worked out or are working it out. Your daughter is quite the cutie pie. I am glad I had the chance to meet her she is a ball of energy and you have your hands ful.

Jensen: Yes well thank you again and thank you for this I think we needed it JJ and myself I mean. Oh and I'm Jensen Ackles.

Me(Jackie): Well it is a pleasure to meet you Jensen and Welcome to my home.

I smiled at her and shook her hand then helped her carry out the rest of the food to the grill. I spent the next few hours with my friends old and new, having a few laughs and just relaxing. Around dinner time Jackie told us that if we wanted to we could stay the night and that there are extra rooms for our use.

Jackies Pov

Two hours after eberyone arrived i was able to relax and talk to people, i had met so many people that i was having a hard time with names.  However i was playing with the kids in the pool making funny faces with Jareds kids and i ducked uner when they turned towards me then i would jump up and say boo and they would laugh. JJ kept saying pool and i looked at her and smiled, i swam over to the side and put a life vest on her before bringing her into the pool with me in the shallow end.  she started laughing and giggling while playing with my hair and my bathing suit strap. I glanced up just then and saw that jensen was looking at me I smiled at him and told JJ to wave to daddy and she did.

At dinner time i told everyone that if they wanted to stay over that they are more then welcome to, and that there are rooms that they can use.  I smiled at them and then sat down at the table as we all laughed and told jokes and just had a good time. Then when everyone said that they would stay I helped put the kids to bed in their portable crib for JJ and toddler beds for Jareds kids. Jared and Jensen were surprised that I even had them for the kids and i laughed before telling them about my nieces and nephews. I watched the kids before turning out the light and leaving the door open a little bit bu then jensen also had JJs monitor in his hand.
