CHAPTER 74
I was shocked when we got out on the other side of the door, I see at least a hundred maybe even more women standing there watching us. I turn to Saurian, “Start sending the women through now.”
Closing my eyes I sent my mind out to find Dominick. I see him straight away I also see the guards watching over him. Opening my eyes I locate Saurian and see, she is sending the women through as fast as they can go. She has the woman all lined up and has them walking thought two at a time. The line is moving smoothly. Turning away I blink myself to where Dominick is being held.
The look of shock on the guards faces' when they see me materialize in front of them was almost funny. I smile at them. “Hi, remember me?” I see when they start to make a run towards me, I whisper, “BURN SHIT HEADS!” I watch as they burst into flames then drop to the ground dead. Running to the cage I give the door a jerk breaking the lock. Walking in I see Dominick lying on the ground. I wouldn’t have known it was him had I not already known he was here. Plus I could feel him.
Looking at him, he is so skinny his beautiful hair black hair has lost its luster it was tangled and matted from not being brushed or washed in months. It was no longer tide back the way he had always kept it. His clothes what little was left of them are dirty and ragged. Kneeling beside him, I turn him over and caught my breath. His beautiful face is beaten his eyes swelled shut, and he has burn marks coving his face and body. I said his name, but he doesn’t open his eyes or reply. I shake him, calling his name again still no answer, I take him by the arms and start pulling him up, and he starts screaming.
“NO MORE I CAN’T TAKE ANY MORE, PLEASE KILL ME; I BEG OF YOU!”
I tried to tell him it was me and I was here to take him home. He acted as if he didn’t hear me. I laid him back down on the ground deciding he would be safer here. Now that I know where he is I can kill anything that comes close to him, but before taking him away from here I have some paybacks to dish out I lean down and kiss his cheek lightly not wanting to cause him anymore pain than he is already in. I promised him I’d be back that he is safe now.
Walking out of the cage I go to find as many of the ASS HOLES as I can. I hope I could find Prince Osier. I want him to pay for what he has done. I want to watch him die! As I head to the village, I start setting the huts on fire when the men run out, I’d either set them on fire, or I would simply tell them to die. When the slaved women run out with their children, I speak to their minds telling them to go to the circle and go through the door. I did notice a lot of the women have male children, but that will have to be dealt with later because there was no way in HELL, I will kill a child. It will be up to the fairy women to decide what to do.
The tree people try to come at me from every way they can only to have me kill them. I am looking for the prince and am determined that I wouldn’t stop until I find him. I felt the tree people entering the circle going after Saurian and the other women. I picture them in my mind bursting into flames. I see the look of horror on Saurian face. Speaking to her mind, I tell her “everything is fine you are doing a great job. Just make sure all the women come to the circle and go through the door the children with them”. I felt the tension as it left her body as she heard my voice.
Coming up on the hut I knew belonged to Prince Osier, I yelled for him to come out. I waited for a reply knowing the prince was too arrogant to let a woman stand here calling him out, and him do nothing. I gave him a few minutes. When nothing happened, I sat his house on fire when he still didn’t come out I knew he wasn’t there.
I sent my mind out trying to locate him unsuccessfully. Giving up I examine my surroundings to see what is left of the village once I do I use my hands and send fire flying from my fingers setting everything in sight on fire. Spinning around I head back to Dominick. While at the same time reaching my mind out to any woman who may be left to head to the circle and go through the door. Looking around at the trees I know without doubt I will burn them all down before Saurian, Dominick, and I go through the door. There is no way in Hell I am going to leave these trees to create more tree people.
“AW…my beautiful princess I knew you would come back.”
Looking over my shoulder, I see Prince Osier standing there looking as proud as always.
“If you knew I would come back why wouldn’t you have gotten better prepared Osier.”“How do you know I didn’t princess?”
“For starters I don’t think you would have just let me come here and destroy your world. Kill your male fairies not to mention your tree people.”
“See princess that is where you’re wrong. I do not care what happens to any of them. You have set me free, Thanks to you; I no longer have to remain here looking out for such fools.”
“If you call me killing you, setting you free, then you’re welcome it’s going to be my pleasure.”
“Aw…Princess I have to say, you have got to be the most magnificent creature; I have ever laid my eyes on. Watching as you went through my world killing anything that stood in your path, being in command with all your powers and the courage you hold it took my breath away. I see why you have men willing to die for you.”
“Yeah now it’s your turn to die you SON-OF-A-BITCH!”
“If you kill me Lana you will also be killing the man you love or should I say one of the men you love. I have bound your Dominick to me tonight so if I die, then he dies.”
“YOU’RE LYING!” I scream, feeling my heart drop knowing if what he says is true, and I kill him, I will kill Dominick as well.
“Are you sure about that? Is that a chance you're willing to take? If so go ahead and kill me and see what happens.”
I stand there contemplating what I should do. Staring at Prince Osier dressed as he always was with a suit and his short blond hair falling over his eyes. I know fairies lie but was I willing to take a risk with Dominick’s life? I didn’t get the chance to think too long on the subject before the prince spoke again.
“I can see by the look on that beautiful face of yours that you do somewhat believe me, and that is good for you as well as for your man. Let me add one more thing you will never have what you want most. I’m afraid it’s time for me to be leaving now, but trust me my beautiful princess we will meet again and one day you will be mine.”
I watch as Prince Osier disappears in front of my eyes. I contemplate for a moment whether or not I had made the right decision by letting the prince later but I decided I’d worry about that later. Right now I need to get back to Dominick and get him to the door. I’m sure Saurian is getting really worried about all the fire she is seeing.
I blink myself back inside the cage with Dominick; he is still lying as I had left him earlier. I tried to wake him, but anytime he come to he would start screaming and cussing telling me to kill him. Even as weak as I know his body is he still fights me every time I touch him. Not knowing what else to do I send him into a deep sleep. I know having my powers will make it simple to get him to the door but we will still have to carry his oversized body through the door.
Bending down I take Dominick’s hand in mine interlocking our fingers together as we so often had in the past. Then I blink us in front of the fairy door. Saurian is waiting on us.
“What happened? Where has all the fire come from? How did you convince all the women to come with their kids and go through the door”?
“Saurian I swear I’ll answer all your questions later when we have time, but if you don’t mind right now could you help me pull him through the door and let’s all get the HELL off this freaking world”! As Saurian and I start through the door pulling Dominick I yell out “burn trees and never live again.”
