"Gwendolyn." the voice belonging to stefan Salvatore spoke, and Gwendolyn Crawford salvatore turned to face him, a large smile on her face, she stood with a small glass in her hands as she wore a beautiful white gown.

"Stefan," the girl smiled at her friend as he approached her, he couldn't help but take in her appearance. She looked perfect as usual, but looking so happy made her more gorgeous.

"You look beautiful," he told her, and Gwendolyn couldn't hide her smile when facing him, nor did she want to.

"Thank you, Stefan." She blushed as she held the glass in her hands.

"I hope you're happy, gwennie, I really mean that." Stefan said to the girl, and Gwen smiled at the nickname he had given her since they were just kids. "I hope he makes you happy."

"He does," Gwendolyn spoke gently and stefan smiled back at the girl.

He found himself staring back at Gwendolyn before he let out a small breathe, before pulling the girl into his right embrace and Gwendolyn smiled before hugging him back, holding onto her oldest friend tightly.

The two of them stayed in each others embrace for what had felt like forever until eventually they broke away from each other, and the girl smiled back at stefan before her eyes fell upon Damon who stood across the room, smiling and laughing as he danced with Gwendolyn's eight year old sister, Jillian.

Gwendolyn couldn't wipe the smile from her face, as she turned back to stefan, and the salvatore boy couldn't help but smile at the girls happiness.

"I should get back to him," Gwendolyn told him, and stefan nodded at his words.

"I'll see you soon, Gwen." He said to the girl and she nodded her head.

"See you soon," the girl spoke gently, hugging the boy tightly before she slowly walked off to her husband.

3 weeks later

Gwendolyn ran through the town she had grown up in, dirt and blood covering her, tears ran down the girls face as she ran throughout the town, her hands shook, as she let out a anxious breathe.

She didn't know exactly where she was going but she knew she had to get away, her legs took her as far and as fast as she could but soon she had found herself stopping in front of an all too familiar house she had been to a hundred times

She found herself stumbling towards the door, but she soon stopped seeing the door was open and she peered inside, only to see something heartbreaking, the sight of her husband with another a girl, not any girl, but the girl that had taken everything from her.

Hot tears rolled down her cheeks, Gwendolyn shook her head before stumbling back before she found herself walking off.

Somehow she found herself on the other side of the property, stand in front of her old friends bedroom. She stared into his window, seeing the boy writing in an old journal as tears fell down her face. She needed him but in an instant she knew what she had to do.

"Goodbye stefan, I'm sorry." The girl whispered, before walking off.

Stefan sat in his room, his eyebrows furrowed before his gaze moved around the room until they fell upon his window to see nothing there and he shook his head before looking back to his journal.
