Once happened to me, we were supposed to do a project on a state in the USA, and wonder what happened, I started it the night before. 3 hours I worked on it. 3 HOURS. But as smart as I was, I didn't save and got to do it all over again. Luckily I still had my rough ideas in my head. In the end I got a B after all.
