Your mother, who grabbed the collar of Mrs Kim, the mistress, started relentlessly crying. She was an emotional mess. Hearing all the commotion outside, your father sobered up and brought himself to the front door where all the drama could be seen. Samuel saw his father and called him to stop the fight. He whipped his head to the door to see his mistress and wife fighting. He pulled his soon to be ex-wife away from his new wife. He faced your mother, who was drenched in tears and anger burning in her eyes and shook her a bit. He spoke out in an angry tone,

-"HOW DARE YOU HARASS MY WIFE?!"

Your mother pushed him away, which made Mrs Kim gasp. She then spit out,

-"Did you sign the divorce papers?"

He stormed off the living room and brought the divorce papers and a pen. He signed them right infront of your mother and went to the front door to join Kim Samuel and Mrs Kim. Your mother takes a look in the papers and glance back at the door. Her now ex husband, new wife and step-son went back to their house. Your mother slammed the door shut and went to the glass dome.

She entered the dome and saw you two siblings sitting on a nearby bench. You were curled up on the bench while Jaehyun sat crossed legged. Noticing her presence, Jaehyun scooted over to you to give your mother some place. She sat down and hugged you two. She looked at the both of you and gave out a small smile. She said facing the both of you,

-"Me and your father will be divorced."

You and Jaehyun heard this statement come out of her mouth. You siblings nodded your head.

Days of going to court, marriage counseling just for this divorce. It was taking most of your mother's work time. Now almost everyone knew about your dad's nasty affair and his other son. They kept silence, for the first time. Also because of how he physically and verbally abused you siblings, it was taking longer. At the end he got a fine to pay and got restraining order to not dare to come near you and your brother.
He could have gone to jail but his little mistress is an influential person which prevented him to serve his sentences.

After the divorce, you saw Kim Samuel packing all of his belongings along with Mrs Kim and your father. They were finally moving. But before going out of town, Samuel gave you his friendship bracelet. You bid him a painful goodbye as you see your first best friend going away because of one person.

You went back inside and rushed to Jaehyun's room. Jaehyun was reading a casual book. He noticed your presence and gave you a soft smile. You take his wrist and put the friendship bracelet on. He smiles as he looks at his wrist. You look at him, giving him soft eyes as you speak out,

-" You're now my new bestfriend!"

He giggled a bit and spoke out in a truthful tone,

-" I got you."
